Ok Ladies and Gents,

I've been rebuilding my coils for a while now and not had the flooding issues I'm just now experiencing. With a new head I don't have problems but with my latest rebuild I start getting gurgling only after a few puffs. I've not had this problem with any of my other rebuilds in the past so I'm not sure what changed.

Here is my setup
Mini protank head re-coiled with 2.5mm silica wick wrapped with 32awg kanthal and 2 1mm flavor wicks on top. Minus the now 2 flavor wicks this is the same exact setup that I've used to build all my other builds.

The other day one of my heads that I had removed one of the flavor wicks started leaking so I made a second flavor wick and that fixed the problem. I'm still getting plenty of flavor with my ADV so I didn't mind too much. Having recently gone back to two flavor wicks I decided to just go ahead and rebuild this head with 2 wicks from the get go. I'm not sure what I did wrong and not sure how the extra juice is getting in there because there are no gaps around the wicks for extra juice to seep in there. I thought about putting in a third wick but that's just crazy talk there.

Ok, here is the crazy part... The battery connector isn't even flooded, sure there was a little juice in there but not a lot, just a tiny bit on the center pin of the battery. The protank was definitely flooded because there was a lot of gurgling and there was a decent amount of juice coming out of the mouth piece.

I've read on here that people suggest just rebuilding the coil as I must have done something wrong but I'd like to figure out why so I can make sure not to do that again.

Thanks
