I guess with the extension cap it would about the same size as a regular model using the 18490/18500. I think I like the idea of being able to go with the smaller size when out and about. I wonder if it will be offered in black or chrome and have the option for the blue LED? I've been putting off ordering a black V2 with the blue LED and now I'm seriously considering the mini now. Decisions, decisions!

700mah vs 1100mah so I would guess 2/3rds run time, I am getting 3 1/2ml on a 18490 over a continuous use of 21hrs so I am guessing for me 14hrs of use and appx 2mls of juice. I am useing 3.0ohms at 4Volt.
Now if they also offered a 1/2" extension sleeve as well as the ext end cap a person could run all 3 battery sizes 18350,18490,18650s.

Copy and pasted response from Provape, They must have been reading my mind.

Yes, it's available on March 15, the Blue LED will be an option.
The extended end cap lets you use the 18490 battery. We're still working on a sleeve for the 18650.

Ooh, a 3-battery-option Provari. I suddenly became more interested...

I would actually have preferred the original design in a lightweight alloy.

It's not the size that makes it somewhat unwieldy in the pocket, it's the weight.

But the weight makes it feel like aquality piece yada yada yada, Its not like anyone is going to use it as a nightstick or for driving nails or anysuch thing. As long as the wall thickness was the same as the SS Provari I think a aluminum alloy would be more then sufficient. A minimag flashlight is similiar wall thickness and they have been bouncing around for years.
