No secret that I'm a proponent of the Provari. I purchased a couple of light-weight, easy-to-pocket variable voltage PV's to use for out-and-about use, yet 90% of the time I still grab for the Provari because it just gives me the best vape.

I have planned for a couple of months to gift myself on my 1 year anniversary of being smoke free with a new Provari. Well, I ordered it today. Yay me!!

I was about to order it last night, then I saw the thread about Provape announcing a new color to its Provari lineup. Would it be the red color that I've been dreaming about for months?

Sad to say, no red. Only the bronze color. :(

So, with that, I went with my original plan. A satin black Mini with green LED. No extension cap. I plan to use the Mini for out-and-about use so I'll only need it in it's shortest version, and carrying a couple of extra batteries in a safe plastic case for my pocket. I'll order a flexi-sleeve lanyard from Serenity Gear for it when they are again taking custom orders in mid-May.

Yay! A mini! How are you going to dress it? Oooo! Lone Ranger? Cowboy a la Marlboro Man? Let me know and I'll design it for you!

I was so lucky! I slid in during the, what? 3 or 4 days? that Tim @Serenity Gear was taking custom orders a couple of weeks ago. I'm getting a purple pearlized flex-sleeve with a spider on it.

ETA: You could get a red flexi-sleeve.

Have you thought about getting silver then have a local show make it red for you?
Someone suggested contacting Provape to find out who does their ceramic coatings and if they could make arrangements for a red color. I figured Provape wouldn't go for that so never checked it out. I'm not a fan of aftermarket painting or bodywork like the projects you are considering, but that's just me. I plan on getting a Serenity Gear lanyard for it or possibly a custom J wrap.

Thanks for the suggestions though. :thumb:

The Mini arrived today...awaiting me in the mailbox. :p

Opened the box, and of course saw the notorious bubblewrap safely enclosing my Mini and two batteries. Immediately put one of the batteries in and checked the voltage - 4.1 volts. Screwed on a cartotank and began vaping away. Same great vape as big brother.

This baby will now be my go-to out-and-about APV. The size is perfect for what I want. Same size as my BB (actually its shorter), but with variable voltage. Not as heavy as the full size Provari, I find its weight to be about right. I can't wait to order my Serenity Gear lanyard when they begin taking new orders in mid-May.

I'm a happy vapor!! :vapor:
