I'm always on the hunt for a reasonably priced rebuildable dripping atty that works well with an ego and I happened upon the Mini rda at Discountvapers.com. I don't know where else this particular atomizer is sold but this was the first time I ran across it so when I saw it I bought it. I got the stainless steel but as of today that one is sold out. However they did still have the black one.

I've seen a few (very few really) reviews on the regular size Joytech rda/octopus & they've been rather mixed. The air hole on the regular size is in an odd place so there were some comments about it not being well placed. Also there was concern about leaking since there's no well area on this particular atty like there is in some of the other dripping attys. I have not seen any of these problems with the mini version. The air hole is perfectly placed so you get good air flow and I have not had even a hint of leaking.

I did not use the wick method used on the prebuilt atty. Rather than using the 8 wicks like they did I used a cotton ball for the wicking. And I have to say this atty works super fab. I'm no expert of course but the fact that I'm a total newbie with rebuildables & it only took me 2 tries to get the wrap right is a plus.

Anyway, I just wanted to mention the Mini RDA & how pleased I am with it here in case others are looking for a dripping rebuildable that's smaller & goes well with an ego. It's got a nice look on an ego twist & performs really well.

Hi Zealous ... I'm just up the road from you near Lake Lanier.

Yeah, I've heard good things about that dripper too. I don't have that one myself but I do love mini drippers ... make the best flavor imho and pretty easy to rebuild once you settle on your wick of choice.

Thanks for sharing!

I recieved the three i purchased from hoosiervapers for $5.49 a piece(SS and anodized colored versions).I am keeping one stock and modding the other two w/ bigger airholes(different size for each). They work pretty darn good for being as small as they are.The stock one i used came in w/ a 2.8 ohm coil and it was blowing clouds, you can position the airhole directly in front of the coil and the cap press fits pretty tight. There is no center airhole going up thru the bottom of the coil like the SMOK RDA.I can't wait to open up the airhole on the other two and see how well they perform. The initial fill i dripped 35 drops of juice in,for the first 5-6 drags no leaking,or gurgling. Then the juice started coming out the airhole, not alot, but just enough to see with each drag. After this i just used 12-15 drops w/ no leaking. This dripper does perform and well worth the few bucks for it,at least a couple.

Being a igo-l user this dripper took some time to get use to being that it's so small. For the money paid its great and looks nice on a ego. I wrapped a 1.5ohm coil and its vaping pretty good on both a regular mini ego and a twist. It looks funny on my sigelei #8 / #13 though
