Been into the e-cig for short while now, and working to get off the analogs. I have cut back alot and finding/trying the right flavors helps even more! This is my first mini review of a few liquids I purchased from Halo and EC blends.
Halo:
Tibecca - YUMMY! This one really blows me away. Taste incredible to me and has the perfect ratio pg/vg, whatever it may be. This one doesn't dry my mouth and throat really either. Flavor of tobacco and just a hint of sweetness on the finish, definelty not overdone though. Will be ordering more of this one!
Freedom juice - Perfumey to me. This may have to steep for a bit and I will give it a second shot in a couple of weeks. But out of the bottle, I get a taste in my mouth that sort of reminds me of walking into an Ambercrombie and Fitch store. If that perfume like taste goes away with steeping, could be really good.
Twisted Java - They gave this to me for free in my order. I am not a menthol/mint guy at all. Marlboro Ultra Light smoker, but really not my flavor.
EC blends:
They say it's necessary to steep these as they are made fresh. But I found some are good right out of the bottle, some may need steeping. What a fun place to shop from though. Tons of flavors and and you can customize your VG/PG ratio, DIY flavors, very cool. All of these are 50/50 with 18mg.
Tobacco Blend - Not bad at all, has a definitive tobacco flavor and not really sweet. I like it! A very slight amount of perfume on the palate but hopefully once steeped fully goes away. Still very good from the bottle.
Dragons Blood - They threw this in for free with my order! YAY! This one is very fruit/candy like. The only flavor I can describe is some Laffy Taffy fruit flavor. Kind of strawberry like. It's really good. Not too sweet, but certainly sweet. Very creamy actually.
Black Pepper - Damn I really like this one! Taste like Black Pepper without the sneezing and burn. Really great!
Espresso - Taste like coffee, but a little on the burnt side of coffee flavor. Maybe steep time will improve this one.
Grape - Taste like Grape Candy, this I like also! Reminds me of grape jolly ranchers.
I know these two companies are made in the USA, but I am curious, do they source ingredients from the USA as well? Not to say this will impede me from buying from these vendors again, both are great and will be doing so!
There are other vendors I am planning on trying, actually recommended to me when I first signed up on e-cig forum, and I'm eager to sample them as well.
