mini tank vs triton tank question

why is that, when i put the same juice in the two different tanks, using the same triton battery, they taste so much different?

i'm torn because i prefer the taste in the mini tank, but don't like how hot it gets. when i use the triton tank, the mint is sooo strong.

is it the ohms? does any one know the ohms on the mini tanks?

I don't have any idea why this is taking place for you. I way prefer the taste from the Triton tank than the mini. I use minis only for a quick taste test now. I don't know what ohms are standard for the mini or Trtion but I'm guess the Triton to be 2.2-2.4 because I think that's Halos recommendation for their juices.

I'm trying to pay attention to if i'm hitting them differently. I think i just realized that I take longer hits from the mini tank.

i defintately prefer to use the triton tank as the tip screws on and it holds a lot more. it just seems to make it to mentholy or something. plus there's a taste on the exhale missing that the mini tank has.

Ohms on the minitank is 2.4, same as the standard Triton (I just measured both).

The difference is the wicking system, that feeds a lot more juice, in the Triton system.

The mini tank is a disposable unit, and is meant for short draws. If your draw exceeds 3-4 seconds, you risk getting a dry hit (burnt taste). This will vary with the e-liquid you use.

The Triton is quite capable of sustaining a 10 second draw; I've never pushed one that far though.

Thanks. I think im just not hitting the triton tank long enough!
The menthol is too strong on my throat when i do. So im considering some fusion just to tone it down a bit. Not sure if it will work.

Alternatively, you could try a BCC (bottom coil clearo); they leave a muted flavor and a cooler vapor which seem to be favorable with menthol vapers.

I just ordered a T3 from SI, so I can compare it with Halo's Triton (T2). Their forum points to a variety of issues, including leaks, and I'm confident that the Triton is, by far, a better system, but I wanted to see first hand.

Terrible, worse than I expected.

Noisy, gurgling, airy, cold... the only thing going for it is how easy it is to take apart for cleaning (there's only 2 parts).

Dont know why im not getting it with my triton.
Think im gonna slap some cartos on there and see what happens
