Its a little of both Thor. Certainly the Triton battery will vaporize more ejuice, but also the Triton tank is large, and capable of handling the larger "hits". When I do use a cartomizer, there is less vapor and less ejuice usage.

About 2x the amount of ejuice is probably pretty close to the mark, but then, I wanted a more intense and flavorful vape, so its a fair trade-off.

Well, there goes my idea for getting a triton system. I've doubled juice consumption with the G6 mini tanks..... If we double again, that's a lot of juice. Does anyone know whether the triton tanks will fit and function ok on the G6 battery?

Triton tanks won't fit on the G6 battery. The Triton shouldn't burn that much more juice than the G6 and mini tank. I think we discussed the amount of juice used in another thread, but maybe it was someone else that asked...

I vape about 10-15 drags at a time. In the mini tank on the Triton battery, I usually go through about .1 ml of juice each time. I go through about the same amount on the Triton tank. I think I take longer drags with the mini tank to compensate for the less vapor and flavor.

I can't say what you'll go through, I can only report what I go through. I actually went through more juice in a cartomizer than the tanks. Reason being I was vaping far more often because the vape quality wasn't as good. The most important thing you can do is listen to your body - stop when you've got enough nicotine, not when you've got enough vapor. If you're going through way too much juice, you may want to try a higher amount of nicotine if you're not using the highest amount offered. Try a 7 ml bottle so if its too much you're not stuck with 30 ml of juice you can't use.

Everyone's different. Just sharing my experiences and theories.

Strange. I'd think if the carts are interchangeable, then it would make sense that the threading would be the same on both the triton and G6 batteries. I figured if it wouldn't work, it'd be due to the G6 having insufficient voltage to operate the triton tank. I just think it'd be nice to have a tank that could hold 2.4ml on the G6.

That's good advice. Being the nic fiend I am, I went right with 24mg/ml from the get go. Too bad there isn't a higher concentration offered by halo.

If you held/saw the Triton tank, it would make sense why it wouldn't be a good idea to have it fit the G6. If the center post wasn't in the Triton tank, you could probably fit the mini tank without the tip on inside it. And the Triton would look pretty stupid too. As far as a 2.4 ml "mini tank," it would be way too long.

I started out on 24 mg too and am still there. I think I'll step down one level every 2-3 months.

Yes, it has nothing to do with the battery voltage. The threading on the Triton tank is not the inside 808 (G6 compatible) threads, but uses the outer Halo/vGo threads of the Triton battery which are not on a smaller G6 battery.

Your ejuice consumption on a Triton tank won't be anywhere as dramatic an increse as going from the standard cartomizer to the mini tank was, although it will be still a bit more.

It is a trade off: Do you want more vapor and a more intense hit? If so, that is accomplished by burning an increased volume of ejuice.

For me, a standard carto and small battery just does not provide enough vaping pleasure, so for me, the trade off is worth it, but that is always a matter of personal preference.

You can always spike with Halo's 36mg Fusion.
I never realized that existed until you said something about it. I wonder why they don't just offer a stronger e liquid? I'm not sure if that'll be necessary, because as of now, I'm using the mini tanks with one of the xl 102mm batteries halo sells, and I seem to be getting more vapor production that way. To be honest, if I take more than 10-12 drags , I start feeling a little sick, so 10 is my cut off.

So, G6 tanks and carts will fit on the triton, but not the other way around?

Correct, because the Triton tanks use the outside Tirton battery threading rather than the 808 threading which is what the G6 batts use. There are no thread adapters for a Triton tank to fit 808 threads.

Not really a biggie as the Triton tank would not be very practical on the G6 battery.

I find it commendable that so much G6/Triton gear is interchangeable, which is why Halo went with the vGo threaded Triton battery rather than a conventional eGo style (eGo.510) threaded battery. It really is there to give G6 owners a practical upgrade path without losing the use of their cartomizers and mini tanks.

I think 24 is enough for 95+% of vapers. Too strong for me. I gave mine to a buddy of who is a 2+ PAD smoker.
