I would say if you prefer the look and feel of the Minikin V2 and it's performance is satisfactory to you then that's the mod for you. Mods are somewhat like e-liquid, it is up to each individual's perception/liking.

If one wants to get into a technical performance debate then I would contend that you really can't compare the two as they do not even achieve the same maximum operating wattage. You could do discrete comparisons such as ramp up time, signal cleanness, signal stability, wattage accuracy, temperature accuracy, etc.

If I were choosing one hands down it would be the Minikin. But honestly, it's such an individual thing as long as you are both happy with your vapes, that's what matters. I have considered buying both on multiple occasions and I'm still happy and still vaping. Etc.

Anna

That right Anna, I'm in two minds to upgrade to the Komada but the price is hefty!! however, would I pay it probably so, as I think it really is an ace bit of kit and it would be more durable.

I'm not saying the Drag is bad it's brilliant and its so popular that tells people something and I would add one to my collection I'm sure of it.

I don't personally have a cat in this debate. I don't have either mod, but I do have a VooPoo Mojo which I recently received for a review. So far, I like the MoJo although I'd prefer it had an external battery over the internal battery.

I took the time to find the product descriptions of both devices online.

Visually, I like the aesthetics of the Minikin over the Drag. It looks like it would be more comfortable to hold and use due to its more rounded edges and contoured shape. I like the larger fire button. Comfort in the hand is important to me.

The Gene chip in the Drag has been compared favorably to a DNA. It will probably be a more battery efficient mod (95% efficiency) over the Minikin. I didn't care for the squared off edges of the Drag, not sure how comfortable it will be to use and hold in the hand. It reminds me of an older Innokin MVP with uncomfortable square edges I have. I don't like the smaller fire and wattage adjustment buttons; could be difficult to find when vaping in the dark.

Spec wise, the two seem reasonably comparable except for total wattage claims.

You're the one who will be using the battery device. You should make your decision based the criteria that is important to you.

That's it totally in agreement with that...

The Drag is large in the hand and can be uncomfortable to hold whereas the Minikin can be held all day and still feel comfortable.

Again its preference for the user isn't it. Both have their pros, both have their cons.

Personally I don't like big mods but if I had to choose it would be the miniki mod. It's smaller and looks better and has a better name. Besides that I don't know how they stack up performance wise

The Drags performance is on point with the new designed Gene Chip.

The Minikin is also a breed of its own. It still sells well after two years
