So i know ive made a couple threads about tanks already but this is something that has got me wondering. During my time searching for that perfect tank i found that there really isnt anything out there thats made in the U.S that amazes me. We have about 20 different renditions of ce2 tanks, stardust tanks, we have our clearomizers and such but nothing thats american made that just flat out amazes me aside from the ACTv4 at stormys. Greece i believe has their GG Odysseus(i know you can get this at CoV but still), Germany the kayfun, and there are several others in the U.K (names have escaped me). Why is this?? are we to afraid to take a gamble on creating something amazing because there is a possibility it will be a flop?. It just seems to me that so many play it safe and base their tanks off a similar model and never create something that stands out from the crowd because its a safe bet, they know that if they create something that looks alike or has same exact specs just different color someone will want it etc.

I hope this hasnt come off wrong or have gone to far off track from what this thread is about as im just wanting to have a good discussion about this and hear peoples thoughts and hopefully be proven wrong. Let me know what you think, if you agree or dont , if you have found something that stands out.

Hopefully i have made this in the right section of the forums :D

Have you tried a hand blown pyrex tank made in USA? They are fabulous, I get mine here- High Desert Ecigs I know many love Phiniacs (sp?) too. bnrk
I have not seen them! :D ill go check them out right now, phiniacs was one of the ones i was trying to remember and they are beautiful but in my mind with phiniacs im paying for art and not really the vape experience that it will give me. The Odysseus to me looks great, simplistic, not alot of things that can break and you are getting an insane amount of features for the price. O on a side note, the torpedo tank was one that caught my interest as well, it has a pyrex tube and its top and bottom caps are stainless steel and uses a ce2 as well..im trying to get as far away from cartos as i can and closer to atomizers as possible...i don't feel that carto tanks are juice efficient..i got a 30 ml bottle of juice from halo just this week and its pretty much gone, with atomizers it usually lasts me about a month

Well, let's see. There are the ACTv4's that you mentioned. I'm ordering a couple of those myself today. Then there are the Phiniac tanks, mentioned about. I have 2 of those and really love them! You can also put these in those tanks...
510 CE2 Cartomizer XL But you'll have to punch the hole yourself.
There are the clean tanks at Avidvapers...
Clean Tanks - Avid Vaper
There are the Bella tanks. I'm not sure if she is still making these or not...
And then there is a new business called Sagewood tanks that haven't opened for business quite yet...

Those are the ones I'm aware of. It seems that we are making the switch from plastic to glass or stainless steel. I think the more people buy these better tanks, the more available they will be. Demand=Supply.

thank you for the last three i am going to check those out right now..i certainly hope more people become interested in these as maybe it will remedy the issue of only a limited stock being released and having to wait a few months before you can get one..also only having a very small time frame to do so, so frustrating lol

I liked the bella tank, i think it looked pretty awesome :D
