Ok I started vaping menthol and love it. I ordered some more that are on their way to me. My question is basically about what type of mint exactally is menthol? I'm sorry if this is common knoledge I'm just not big on mint and there are ally of variations out there.

I see spearmint, wintergreen which I thought were the same lol

and I know pepermint is more like a candycane.

I was just curious lol I'm not a big gum person, I'm 24 and mint is new to me... Such a sheltered life I live.

Also I like the chocolate and tea. Has anyone tried mixing a min o make mint chocolate? Or with tea for a mint tea? If so how was it and what mint did you use?

Technically menthol is not a mint flavor at all. Menthol is the cooling agent. It's short for a longer name that I won't even bother to spell. The reason it is so commonly thought of as mint is due to mint flavors being used for that refreshing quality. As for mint flavors there are several. Wintergreen and spearmint are vastly different. Wintergreen is more of a sweeter mint flavor. Spearmint is spearmint, I can't think of a better way to describe it. Peppermint is the strongest of the mint flavors and you are right to associate it with a common candycane. Not sure if that helps.

I went and got some Spearmint from my local dealer :?:

Anyway i went to my local VAPE shop and got a small sample of Spearmint and i hate it. But i got more menthol. Thanks for the mint info.

And thanks for the info about menthol. I totally learned something new today :D

None of the mint flavors have tobacco flavor in them like menthol, unless you mix say hilton and mint together, you might like Smilins Special Menthol, ask Mark to send you a sample on your next order, I personaly love mint and spearmint but I do add a little sweetner to them, I really don't care for the tobacco flavors anymore and I used to smoke both menthol and reg analogs.

Some people have been adding the sweetener drops found in the diet section. You may get a sweet taste on your tongue but you won't get it in your exhale. We can't smell sweet or salty!
Be careful and use it gently..in a carto you don't care about. (Just in case).
sucralose , splenda and other liquid sweenters:

I use liquid sucralose and have for a while now with no problem. In fact, there is a juice vendor that offers it, and I haven't seen any issues reported even with atomizer use. It doesn't take much though, when experimenting, use less than you think you need, you can always add more. A general rule of thumb I use is one drop per ml sweetens things very nicely, and I've yet to see the need for more.

BTW, Gamer, do you play Borderlands?
