hi,

last week i purchased an intellicig as i really wanted to try e cigs in the hope of quitting the real ciggies. at first i liked the product but started having problems with the amount of vapour produced. the excellant customer services has sent a new atomiser which i should recieve tomorrow and hopefully fix the problem.

the only thing is that i wasnt too keen on was the length of the intellicig..........it is 102mm in length and a tad thicker than a normal cigarette. i know its not huge compared to some others but for me, to be able to get past the physcological side of smoking i needed one that closely resembles a regular ciggie.

after searching the net for a few days i came across a company called Mirage Cigarettes (add a .co.uk for the web address)they have a nice looking site and the products look good too! i ordered a kit from them yesterday which came with an 89mm e cig, 50 carts, two batteries etc (one battery has a red tip, the other a green tip for smoking in sensitive areas like pubs etc).

anyway, to cut a long story short...........has anyone purchased an e cig from this company and if so, was you happy? (please say yes!)

cheers,

scott

the guy says that they are made specifically for him but you are probably correct about re branding. not seen any others like it though and it really is the closest thing to the look of a real cigarette. the menthol carts that came with it are really nice and provide a really strong kick!

Hi,
I've seen your video , where you're smoking a Mirage..
What are your further remarks about this e- cig? I smoke Janty KB and DSE 901. Has the Mirage any advantages instead the size?
I mean a smoke density, a draginig strenght?

for me personally, i think that the Mirage is just as good as the 901 when it comes to vapour. i also think that it produces more throat hit than the 901. i cant comment on the Janty KB as i have not used one. on the video review i think that it shows the vapour quite well plus i show a vapour comparison with a 901. i really wanted a e cig which resembled a regular ciggie.......the Mirage does that perfectly. the vapour i feel has a good density and it can produce some really fat smoke rings! drag strength at 1st was slightly tough but after a days use it became very easy to get a nice drag without any effort.

hope that helps!

 Yes i have had dealings with the company which has an office in sheffield two weeks ago i purched a kit from them it sounds like the same kit you have ordered they were great i had a problem with a charger ( not there fault ) one phone call resolved this a new charger was sent out and i recived it the day after. The kit itself is good although the batt life is a little short about two hours but i am a heavy user so for normal use this would be fine .Does any one know of a kit that has a long life batt ???

Bought a starter kit from mirage cigarettes after seeing your review on youtube, thanks for the discount code ;)

I know that I have to go through one or two cartridges before it starts working properly, so I'm patient at the moment. I'm actually getting a decent amount of vapour straight up if I drag on it for 3-4 seconds. Hopefully that will come down to 1-2 seconds after the first cartridge.

I'm experiencing something weird though, sometimes when I drag, I get some liquid coming out of the cartridge (both on weak and strong drags). I hope that is only because it's a new atomiser, and it will fix itself.

Overall, proving the above problems resolve themselves, I'm very happy. I'm actually hoping to quit normal cigarettes because of the lousy complications every time I get a cold. Since these produce no smoke/tar, I think I'm safe to assume this will not stuff my lungs up like normal ciggies do.

PS: I got the 12mg cartridges with it, which I sort of regret now, as usually I smoke 6-8mg. I can actually feel how strong the nicotine is, but the menthol makes it tolerable.

They should make your Joye 510 user guide video a sticky in the new members forum. That's about the most straightforward explanation I've seen. I'm wondering if some of the problems people have with short atomizer life and "icky" flavor would be reduced if they followed your tips on cleaning the e-cig, dripping, etc. Thanks again for your good work.
