Missing: lost Ego

I just love that saying. After all, it would be kind of silly if it were in the first place that you looked and you kept on looking! 
I think the zombie apocalypse will come 1st so I keep my tackle box of ecig supplys near my chain saw and baseball bat.
The longer you look for a lost item, the less likely you are to find it. That’s because you tend to keep checking in places where you already looked. To improve the odds, look in a place that hasn’t been searched already.

Well, I just lost a Janty Ego today on the golf course somewhere in the rough

That sucks! I loose ine countless times throught the day, its an 808 so much smaller and likes to roll away as soon as dropped :-/ lol Ive contemplated making a wrist lanyard for mine!

still missing, tried all the places mentioned.... darn near torn my car apart searching for it. Not in bathroom, nor in bed (sheets. pillow cases, comforter), not under in or around couch, not in fridge or freezer, not behind it either (yep looked beneath it and the stove with flashlight). Searched my front lawn and the neighbors (wow did I get some funny looks).
I think I will just let it go, for now at least, maybe I will discover it when I am NOT looking, that can happen, right???
Anyhow, thanks for all your words of support, have a new black Ego on the way (not out of necessity, but more to keep as add'l back-up).
One quick question though?? If a fully charged Ego is out there, in the sun and heat (been mid-80s to low 90s here), is there anyway it could be an issue?? safety wise???

I lost my blue tooth once...a tragic day in phone history I looked for like two weeks and on my way to the store I was talking on the phone with my girl friend and was like if I find my bluetooth it will be completely random. Well I said that I reached under my carseat to see what was stopping my seat from going completely back and inside the little "rail"..... my bluetooth. It'll turn up...just when you start talking about never seeing it again. I bet you find it today lol. Also...never underestimate the rails under your seats....it seems impossible that something could slip in there but....it will. ^.~

P.S. I'm a newbie so I wouldnt know to much about it being outside for long periods of time. If it takes you awhile to find it though I'd def clean it really well before using it. I wouldn't trust the liquid esp if I didnt know what my ecig was up to the last few days ^.~ Luckly I have 2 year old...so I watch my ecig like a hawk. Keeps it in check.

Oh Goodness! I never thought about a power outage!
That scares the crap out of me! I have plenty of backups if I lose one.

Not enough to worry about, Leesa. If you lost your cell phone, would you worry about the battery exploding? It's the same battery, basically.
If it *did* start on fire, it would be easy to find though. <g> Sorry, Leesa.. I couldn't resist. LOL
FYI -- I momentarily misplaced my eGo one time and was able to find it. It slid out of my top pocket and alongside the car seat (where the adjustment lever is) on the floor when I bent over to lift the dog up (see avatar lol) to get him inside the car. Black eGo against the black seat frame nestled in a tight little spot. Maybe yours ended up in the same spot?
Did you drive once you got in the car? You may have set it on the car and drove off. If you did check the street. You may get lucky.

Go get one of those magneting pick up wands from a tool shop - e-smokes have metal parts- it will stick to the magnet if it's in taller grass or weeds, or under a place you can't see or reach well
Yep, checked the street.... the whole street, both sides, up and down and back again..... I figure it is a goner, but I will survive..... thank you all for the support..... it will be okay, eventually....
A couple of weeks ago, I reached in my bag for my Chuck and no atomizer or drip tip. I'd only walked about a block and a half so I retraced my steps to the building I'd come out of. (I'd vaped while waiting for the elevator when I first got there so I knew I had it when I went in.)
Couldn't find it so I was going to go home (I didn't have a spare with me.) Just as I got the the place I first noticed it was missing, I saw something silver colored in a hole in the sidewalk. Ta-dah! (My next stop was Walgreen's. I bought a box of alcohol swabs and used 3 of them on the mouthpiece so I could finish my errands.)
These things are small and sneaky. It may turn up yet.

Dropped my car keys (four or five keys on the ring) in the car one time and they totally disappeared. Looked everywhere. Even got a flashlight (even though it was during the day with bright sunshine) but couldn't find them anywhere.

I told him I lost my car keys and looked everywhere but couldn't find them. Dropped a KR808D-1 batty ( black of course) in my car. Did the same thing, "I just had the damn thing in my hand!". Tore that car apart! Never found it. One day I was cleaning out my truck and looked over at my car. "I'm gonna look ONE more time". I opened the door squatted down and there it was. Right next to the driver's seat, left hand side (if you were sitting in it). After 3 months it was dead as a doornail and in dire need of cleaning, but I have it and it still works.
Yep, that's how it ALWAYS happens. You never find something until months later when you have totally forgot about it.
