Missing old forum look

Am I the only one missing the old look of the forum.

I guess the new look is nice, guess I will have to get used to it.

You can change it back to the old style, go to the bottom of the page, drop down menu on the left and select ECF1

Go all the way to the bottom of the page, and the menu on the left has settings you can change, to get back to the old way, or a couple of other styles. I didn't care for the new look, don't like the font, so I changed the style setting immediately to go back to the "old" way -- "Standard Styles, ECF 1" is the way it used to be.

Not really, if you go to settings and click the general settings tab under my account, then scroll down to miscellaneous options there is a setting for forum skin, just click on ECF1 and your back to the previous look.

You need to do this if you want to keep the change back to the old style permanent. Otherwise it will default to the new skin style every time you log in.

No the new look bothered me since I'm so use to the old look, so I changed it back.

I never log out so I've not seen these changes. I am fairly sure you can change your skin/theme if you don't like the new one.

I liked the look of the new style ok, but I don't like the "Arial" font; so bland. And it changed around the top so much I couldn't find what I was looking for, sometimes -- settings, profile, etc. Yeah I know it's there, but it's on the wrong side! After 6 1/2 months, I look for that stuff on the right, not the left, and I don't see any compelling reason to change.

You know what I don't like about the new look? Too much empty space all over the pages. In a way it's tiresome to use, like your eyeballs have to do a lot more scanning over/past/through the empty space to get to the data. Anyone else notice this? In a way it's anxiety provoking on some subliminal level.

I didn't stay with the new skin long enough to notice.

Every once in a while some loser simply MUST reinvent the wheel and invariably end up with a mess. I mean they should have polled us users first. Hope they like the NEW LOOK I'll be introducing for them come time to renew my supporter payment and I don't mean an athletic supporter...

As has been mentioned in the thread...there are a couple of ways that you can change the look...and back to what you had.
There are a few to select from.


Are you having difficulty changing to a forum skin that you would like to use ?

I wanted to do a big thank you for the fact that you can use different skins on different devices. I like the new look on my tablet and prefer ecf1 on my computer.
