Mixing a 0 nicotine with 12 nicotine?

I have a flavor that is 12 nicotine and it makes me cough all the time because it's so harsh. If I were to mix the exact same flavor but with 0 nicotine, will it reduce the harsh and maybe possibly the nicotine to 6? Thanks. I am planning to buy a 0 nicotine variant and mix them half half.

That will work.

Other variables might be the flavor is just harsh to begin with or juice has too much flavor and is being vaped at higher watts, or it's high in PG.

What strength nic do you normally vape?

Yes, mixing equal parts of 0mg and 12mg will get you 6mg. As for whether or not it will eliminate the harshness, you'll just have to try it & see. As per what smacuser said.

If you like the flavor and just want to cut down the nic, you can get some plain PG and/or VG to cut the nic level to 6 or 3. It will reduce the flavor a bit, but you may not notice it. I've done it with several pre-made juices that I had from when I started with 18 mg and wanted to cut them down to 6 mg. I like a mix around 50/50 PG to VG, but if you need to cut down either PG or VG you can make your neutral base whatever you prefer.

I do that all the time (but with different flavors that go well together) The first time I got a full blown DL tank, I had to mix 6mg juice with 0mg juice (to end up with 3mg)
