I'm just starting to get into vaping after a friend showed it to me. I don't smoke cigarettes so I'm not looking to have any nicotine in my liquids. I just bought a few flavor drops from capella. I'm wondering if I can just vape the flavor drops by themselves without adding anything or if I am supposed to mix the drops with some pg and vg first? The flavor drops say they already have pg in them and they are water soluble so maybe I just have to mix some vg with the flavor drops so I can get more smoke.

You'll need to mix flavors with pg and or vg. As mentioned above go to Wal-Mart and get some VG and mix the flavors with it. There's a calculator, E Juice Me Up, that can help you. If you use one flavor at 10% put that in the calculator, put the amount you wish to make (5ml, 10ml, 15ml), then you'll know how much vg and or pg to use. Get your items and if you have any futher questions come back and ask us. I would not recommend using the flavors by themselves, they are concentrated and will not taste good.

Thanks for the quick replies and I ordered their rasberry, blueberry cinnamon crumble, and the chocolate brownie flavors. I think id like to mix it about half and half with the pg and vg. It says the flavor drops have pg in them already so should I maybe make it like 55% vg and 45% pg to compensate for what's already in the drops? Or will it not make that much of a difference?

No, 20% is about as high as people usually go. And as a warning, some flavors do not perform well on their own. The Chocolate brownie, for example, is usually just one component of a recipe.

And pick up some EM to sweeten the mixes.

Also try the DIY subforum and look at some sample recipes. There's a reason everybody doesn't DIY their liquids....

eta: oh I see what you mean. Yes, you will have to compensate if you want 50/50. Being a bit off won't matter too much though. Get the ejuice-me-up calculator and it will make this stuff easy. And it comes with recipes.
