Mixing ejuice

Hello folks!

I'm new to the eCigarette thing, haven't smoked Analog since I got my Kit 4 days ago!

Pproblem is I read how to Dilute my e-juice ( 16mg) and I diluted it with TOO MUCH with Glycerine, there was no details but since found a video here.

Now I get no throat hit and my lungs don't feel very good.

I ordered more e-juice on the weekend but it's still "processing"

Can I remove the Glycerine or some of it somehow? Don't see how besides boiling it outside, but don't even know what that will do.

thanks
A

You are the second person today asking a question in this subforum, who is diluting e-liquid with VG. Why are you doing that? To lower the nicotine level? In the process, you are watering down (actually glycerining down) the flavor. Buy lower nicotine level juice, if that is what you want to achieve.

And, with less nicotine, it's no surprise that you are getting less throat hit. [Also VG tends to deliver less TH than PG, which probably was the base of the e-liquid you were using.]

I'm not sure why your "lungs don't feel very good." If that is an understatement or if it persists for a day or so, see a doctor! Amateur opinions (and we are all amateurs here, even the "experts") are OK for supplier, device, or e-liquid flavor recommendations, but not for your health.

If that lungs feeling is just mild discomfort and passes, then check out the Health, Safety and E-Smoking forum to read about the experiences of other vapers. For example there is a fairly recent thread there on "anyone else have shortness of breath?." One person in that thread noted: "the symtoms started after i switched to a mix of 70pg/20vg/10 water." Another responded: "That's what happened to me. Go back to totally PG. You will feel better."

Finally getting to the actual question you asked: I don't know how to remove all or some of the Glycerine. If you have any more of the unaltered e-liquid, you could mix that in, to reduce the proportion of VG in the total mixture.

General advice to all newbies: Don't rush in too quickly with DIY or modding! Stick with off-the-shelf devices and e-liquids that have been effective for most vapers. Notice the statement at the top of the DIY e-liquid forum:

You may discus home-making e-liquid here, but anyone attempting to follow others' advice does so at their own risk.

Got it?
