My fav PV is a 1000 mah battery with an egoT LR type B atty & tank. That said, I am running thru these attys like crazy :(

I like PG but I think I'm somewhat allergic to it, so have been vaping vegetable Glycerin 50% or more in an Ego-T LR type B atty (& destroying them in 4 days). Ditto with the Ego-T LR type A atty.

I've tried diluting VG with 50% distilled water - still fry the LR attys in 4 days.

Then I tried a GoGo - too "airy", compared to the warmer lo res vape I like.

I don't know what to do as I really, have to use the veg Glycerin e juices, but I like the lo res + tanks as no fuss no muss...

I like the Ego/ GOGO form factor tho (not a big fan of a box if I could avoid one).

Any suggestions? Thanks!

There is no reason that VG per se would fry an atomizer. An LR atty (particularly the 1.5 ohm level) might very well fry (especially if not kept constantly moist) because of the amps current generated by its low resistance: 3.2V X 3.2V / 1.5Ω = 2.1 amps. [My personal rule of thumb: 2.0+ amps = Danger, Will Robinson!]

I prefer LR cartomizers. They more effectively deliver e-liquid to the atomizer portion than conventional cartridges (although I'm not sure about tanks). And examples like the Boge 2.0Ω and the Smok Tech Dual Coil 1.6Ω carto deliver a very satisfying vaping experience ... with less current. On the 3.2V eGo, the Boge 2.0 generates only 1.6 amps. Since the total resistance of the Dual Coil is 1.6 X 2 = 3.2Ω, the amps generated are only 1.0 ... while still providing a high watts, satisfying vape.

[I've read that all these LR attys and cartos put strain on the mosfet of the eGo's switch and, therefore, officially are not recommended for use on the eGo and similar fat batts. However, most vapers go ahead and do so. Regardless, this impacts the battery, not the atomizer or cartomizer.]
