PG & VG(no nicotine) I purchased from my local bakery supplier in PG(Sim Company SDN BHD @ Carnarvon Street and all my essenses i use from lime to durian..just avoid any essenses in oil base(usually nuts)..download eJuice Me Up - e-Juice e-Liquid Recipe Calculator and follow instruction to make whatever recipes(click on file & U can see lots of recipes after U dl) ..only some not a bakery ingredient and has to source from elsewhere..maybe "little india" for tandoori flavor or biriani..hahaha..i am happy to concoct my own..i like lemon mix with peppermint, coffee & vanilla, tutti fruitti, grape 70PG-30VG ratio @ 12-18mg nicotine in my mixtures..will 1 day try durian flavor..good luck if U do try DIY,just make sure U mix small amount 1st like 3ml ..i even throw all my "leftovers" smell funky but still vapable..hahah..regards mafig

lorannoil and all the other flavor specialists can mixes diff % of primary flavors into their own special fragrant like in perfume and name to match the mixture..but strictly i like the source rather than artificial flavors as U can tell without knowing what U R vaping..i can distinguish all the flavors i vape..i like pineapple, coffee, grape and lychee very much...and now i try and mix diff flavors 2-3 types, not more than 15% in total..70/30VG & 12-18mg strength in nicotine..so do try and be adventurous..and never bore with the flavors i DIY..way to go happy vaping..regards mafig ps durian flavor i have not yet vape..but will since i like durian hahaha

goto any tesco store...look at the baking section..u will find all halal ingredient for flavors..just dont select any flavor in oil base..i buy most of my flavor at a specialist bakery supplier & some from tesco too..the specialist bakery supplier have PG & VG(zero nicotine only) in 500 ml bottle for sale for around $8rm and lots more flavor to choose from unlike tesco limited..anything edible as far i am concern should be ok to vape on..only oil base cannot mix well in e-liquid so i avoid ok? so try to explore the DIY in liquid..so much fun doing it..regards mafig

The flavours that are used by a lot of the e-liquid manufacturers or custom makers typically come from either Lorann or Perfumer's Apprentice (Create your own perfume with The Perfumer's Apprentice) ...or some other reputable source. A good flavour base will make or break your mix. Some vapers find that the Lorann flavours tend to have a bit of a chemically taste, and I can actually speak from experience that this is true, as I've tried a few of them. Perfumer's apprentice flavours are much more expensive, but they tend to better.

Some PG or VG base also have a slight chemical taste to it that can be frustrating. Finding a nice PG or VG to mix with is one of your first priorities too, one which tastes clean and pure. You may also want to try out PEG400, as some vapers find that a 50/50 mix of PEG400/VG tends to give good vapour, but maximizes the flavour and throat hit too.

In the end, it's a matter of trial and error. Patience is needed, and a long period of investment to find the right mix and materials. If you persist, the rewards are good, as you get good taste, at a reasonable cost.

Another thing you may want to keep in mind these days, is that if you are using nic juice, some nic juice makers and sources have been exposed lately in other countries to either have less nic in the juice than claimed....or even more dangerous......much much more nic in it. There was one case highlighted her in ECF that a nicotine base that was claimed to be 100mg, was actually 272mg. THAT IS STUFF THAT CAN KILL SOMEBODY !!!! Even touching a 272mg juice can make you very very sick. Some nic bases were tested to show less than half of the claimed nic content on the label.

THIS IS NOT TO SCARE EVERYONE FROM MIXING YOUR OWN E-LIQUID...It's just to educate, and to make sure that you purchase your materials from reliable sources...and you do it safely....and end up with an e-liquid that will taste good and is safe for consumption. Mixing my own juice is something I can't do well, but I do admire the people who persist and manage to come up with some that they like.
