Let me start off by saying i am still new to mixing flavors, I get the general method in mixing ejuice is to create a vg/pg base with x amount of nicotine. Since I am new to diy, and i dont want to waste Nic, I decided to premix my single flavors first in vg to become familiar each flavor by itself w/o nic. Unfortunately every recipe i've stumbled across calls for adding .2% - 5% individual flavors for a total of 20% flavor on average. I thought i was a step ahead by having 20% premixed flavors without having to add any vg/pg. How can i convert recipes to pre-mixed concentrates? I'm not comfortable adding 1% flavor to a 10ml bottle. Should i just multiply each amount by 5 since its only 1/5 flavor premixed? Also my flavors have already steeped, should I re-steep the mix after adding flavors together? Any input is greatly appreciated.

I use a mixing calculator called eJuiceMeUp. You can get it for free here. That will allow you to enter all recipe ingredients in percent and it will tell you in ML and also drops how much of each to use. A lot of people use it so you'll have a lot of help with it if you have questions about it.

I never premix my base flavorings. It would really mess me up as I would not be able to use percentages of pure flavoring like every one else does so I could not use a published recipe. You also need to add in PG, other flavors and nicotine which is also diluted in some combination of VG and PG. It just won't work.

If I were in your position I would try to turn the base flavorings you have premixed into juice using the calculator. Enter what you have in a premix using the flavoring at whatever percent you added and then add other ingredients by adding them into the calculator.

If you are mixing small amounts, which you should at first, a 3 ML syringe is pretty much all you'll need to move liquids around. If you need to add less than about 0.3-0.5 ML it becomes hard with a 3 ML syringe, but you can also count drops. A 1 ML syringe will take care of it also.

Once you have 5 posts in you'll be able to post in the DIY E-Liquid section. You can already see the posts there. Check out the 'sticky' threads at the top of that page, they have a lot of information on how to do things there.

Hope that helps a bit :)
