Are you reducing your single flavor percentages to compensate for multi-flavor mixes or are you using the same percentages in both? As for LA cherry, I haven't used it personally but consensus seems to be it is best used at very small percentages and mixed with other flavors. It isn't good as a stand alone (try Flavour Art's cherry instead).

I find most strawberries are hit and miss, tastes like strawberry, but vapes like berry something.

Cheesecake requires at least a week to meld and develop fully.
I use 10-15% CAP NY Cheesecake, 5-8% Strawberry TPA, 2-3% Graham Cracker TPA, 5 drops Brown Sugar TPA, 5 drops Marshmallow TPA.
Wait a week...
Cherry is another tough flavor to get right, but I'm using TPA Black Cherry 2%, Marishino 1%, Whipped Cream 5%, Marshmallow 5%, Malted Milk 5%.
Another steeper, new recipe just mixed but not tried yet.

The recipe I used was from an ejuice calculator website that had several different recipes available. I followed it as closely as possible with a total flavoring of 22 percent for the cheesecake flavor it didbt come out too bad weak on strawberry but the rest was great the cherry on the other hand was me trying to be creative added .4 ml of cherry th 1.6 ml if marshmallow in a 10 ml batch yuck I added a lot more marshmallow not sure how much I was ticked and just started adding niw its almost vapable of you like cough drops

I think sometimes you can get what I call "Flavor Interaction".

And that is when you Mix One Flavoring with Another Flavoring and they Chemically react to make a 3rd Horrible Flavor.

The Best way to Test for this is to do what michaelsil1 suggested in Post #2.

i agree healbob let them babies steep a week then try them again , i know what you mean about the carpet taste i have a watermelon that when first mixed i swear it would poison a rattlesnake but if i steep 1 week with the cap off and 1 week with the cap on its the best watermelon ive tried , but cherry.....i think ive got 7or 8 different ones and i have no luck but i keep trying , and the single flavor recipes / combining has always worked for me thats what i did b4 i started diy and still do some like that today it just works

I have a few recipes that use marischino cherry, VERY STRONG!! I use between .5 and 1% in 15ml and it is still almost overwhelming the other flavors.

btw that mix is 7% Juicy Peach, 5% Jamaican rum, and around 2% marischino cherry. Amazing!! :D

Lol, I know what ya mean, as I've had unused cherry flavorings sitting around forever.
I used a toothpick to dip and taste the marishino when I first got it, Yeow, couldn't taste anything for an hour.
Scared me off for a bit but now decided to try some things with cherry.
Trying for a Cherry Shake too, but gotta steep it for a week.
