Mixing our own Eliquid

To dilute eliquid, does Alcohol and PG necessary?? why we need to put alcohol and which type of Alcohol can be used?? And where to find.

I just cut it with plain PG. Sometimes I cut with PG and VG. Either way, I never add alcohol.

I use alcohol (Everclear - PGA) to thin out the VG.

I started out using PGA & VG to cut down the nic strength. Now I'm also adding PG just because I have too much of it.

You can use distilled water but I find PGA is much better at thinning VG.
