Mixing query

Hi all,

Im looking to go into mixing my own juice(s), however after reading various guides/blogs and posts i have one question which doesnt seem to have been answered, (unless im blind and thick!)

How would i go about mixing a 60PG/40VG juice of say "cherry" 8%?

I have 54mg base nic (PG) anf Lorann Cherry.

I know ill be needing VG flavourless but will i need PG flavourless also?

I sometimes play with the ratio to make it easier to work with. If I'm over in a little PG or VG, I'm OK with that. I don't notice much difference in taste if I'm over a little in PG or VG and under in nicotine.

Just write it down in case you like it. I'd make a small batch and go a bit under in flavoring. You can always add to it.

I meant the values in the ejuicemeup calc under PG and vg (60/40 ratio), are they for flavourless liquids in addition to the 54mg nic base?

Yes, they're for just PG and VG without nicotine.

Those values are for the FINAL pg to vg ratio you want. If you are converting all the flavorings, nic, pg and vg into a 50/50 mix you make sure that BOTTOM SECTION states 50 % pg 50% VG

If you want it 70% PG and 30% VG make sure you set it there before you CALCULATE TOTALS!

I've explained it all the best I can in easy to understand laymen terms.

Your interpretations of the calculations are not accurate however -

You asked........

0.19 is not the correct amount.....the correct amount is what she stated as 1.87 (almost 2 ML) as opposed to your very low calculation of 0.19 (Which would be just below the 2 mark on a 1 ML syringe.) so rather than the tiny amount you have listed here......you actually need to fill the entire 1 ML syringe almost twice. Same for your question about the 4......It is 4 and not 0.4.

remember - you want it all to equal the 10 ML you are making.......your calculations would not get you there.

Think of it this way.

When you get done, your 18mg e-Liquid needs to be 60% PG. But 60% of 54mg is 32.4mg

So if you attempted to make 60% PG e-Liquid by adding Only VG to your 54mg PG Nicotine Base, you will only get to 32.4mg

And that Isn't Low enough.

So without even knowing what Proportions you are going to need, you are going to need BOTH Pure VG and Pure PG when you start to Mix.
