It might have some effect, but not much....there are a number of factors involved with throat hit...nicotine content is but 1.

The heat of the vapor is another - which is why some members swear by the "power mods" ..... the SD, the GG, the Prod, the Stick, the Zi, and others..... these all have bigger batteries, sending more power to the atty, making warmer vape...etc.

your draw technique is still another - draw fast and hard, and you get weaker vapor....draw long and slow, richer vape.... again, the richer vape will give you a bigger hit on the back of the throat.

and some people do a direct-to-the-lungs inhale as opposed to drawing into your mouth and then inhaling...the direct lung inhale will give you more hit, as well.

I've had the Screwdriver (sold it) and the Stick (defective - replacement on the way). I'm on the waiting list for the Prod. The others I've heard good things about, but no personal experience...

I have not vaped anything above 11mg in strength with any of my gear and still get throat hit in abundance....I even have some ultra low (4mg) from puresmoker that got good hit from the stick.

My old reliable right now is the Kissbox/manual switch... and there is a difference - the KB has to have fresh batteries to deliver that punch...once they start to peter out - meh. So I'm continually switching out batteries on my KB - can't wait for the prod!!!

If nothing else, stick to the manual switched gear. You can pre-warm the atty, and that, again, gives you a better punch....plus, bonus, no primer puffs required.

Hopin I helped with this old wall of text.....:D

Let me know what you think about the Prodigy.

I still have auto batts and I am fairly satisfied, but, have nothing else to compare to :(

Did you pick up the manual swith OK or was it a learning curve?

very little learning curve with the manual switched... push the button a second or 2 before drawing, let go a second or two before stopping the draw... piece of cake.

I'll toss a prod review up once I have it to play with it.... :) (Gotta love a good nail-biter pre-order sale....hehehe) There are other reviews on the forum on the Prodigy, as there are plenty of other people on the board who already have them....check out Puresmokers forum for lots of discussion on it.
