So, I have been vaping for 8 months now. All this time on 100% VG liquids, when I started I also tried out PG stuff but got some allergic reactions from it.

I have been through several different e-cigs, atomizers, cartomizers, clearomizers, you name it - in all this time I have not found a good solution. Now I am beginning to think that it may be because of my liquids (100% VG) why the stuff does not work, at least not for long.

I been thinking of trying mixing liquids, 50% VG and 50% PG, any things I should know when doing this or do they just blend in together without problems? Thanks.

I love VG but I had hardware issues. I'm not sensitive to PG so I just gave up on pure VG.

If you are sensitive, just try something like 20/80 or something. But, really, I don't see anything wrong with just jumping to 50/50 too see if that'll get you. I'd suggest taking notes of your potential reactions to different ratios.

I have not vaped anything but 50/50 for well over a year due to PG allergies that occur over the 50% mark. I DIY. I have no problem mixing them.

If you want/need to continue using only VG, dilute it with 1 or 2 drops of distilled water. It doesn't take much so be careful. I would do that rather than add PGA, I don't like alcohol in my juice.

Here is a post about Thinning VG regarding Clogging and Cleaning.

Gotcha...

So it sounds like you add about 25% Pure VG and 25% Pure PG to your 24mg 50|50 Nicotine Base. 25% Pure VG isn't too bad.

Does it seem like your 12mg Flavored e-Liquid is about as thick as your 24mg Nicotine Base.

The Reason I ask is because Many People, like myself, who do DIY don't use Pure VG when a Recipe calls for VG. What they, I, do is Dilute my Pure VG with 5 Parts Pure VG to 1 Part Water. And then use this 5:1 Mixture when a Recipe calls for VG.

The isn't much of a Loss of Vapor by using this Diluted VG and it makes the e-Liquid Thinner which helps with Clogging.

You might try it and see if you get more time before Needed Cleanings.

The Pure VG I buy is Very Thick. And if I use it undiluted I get Wicking Problems in a CE2. Also, some amount of Water seems to help Flavors develope in DIY mixtures.

No sure how thick you Pre-Made VG e-Liquids are, but you might try adding a Drop or Two of Water to a 10ml test Batch and see what happens. If you shake it up and it doesn't seem any thinner, try adding a few more drops.

You can also use PGA or Vodka to thing VG e-liquids.
