Yup, I have done it before and sometimes it is good and sometimes it just sucks. Flavors vary per vendor(obv) so watermelon from X vendor could taste different or have a different hit from Y vendor. It really just depends on the flavor and the vendor. Sometimes I send the vendor suggestions if my mixing is good to me and see if they like the idea/or have tried it before.

Check out the DIY forum, you might be able to find some good mix tips for different flavors that you might have for a vendor.

I've mixed plenty of store bought liquids together with no issues so far. It's usually when one bottle is nearly empty and I throw it into another bottle to top it up (different flavors though) Takes a little time to mix and blend, but it's not an issue in my experience.

You could get some concentrate flavoring and add that to store bought liquid too - the results will vary though I'm guessing!

I had a chocolate fudge mix and some store bought spearmint - added the spearmint in and voila, mint chocolate. It was quite nice :)

YMMV

Tru dat!! I had some Banana Nut bread juice that I was vaping in a dripping atomizer, really tasty stuff. I dropped in a local vape shop and the owner was trying out some juices, one being a banana nut bread, and asked if I wanted some. It was time to add some to my dripper and so he just put a few drops down the drip tip and I let it settle a few seconds and then took a hit. It tasted just like a DEAD FISH!! It took me several flushings to get that taste out of my atomizer. Uggghhhh!!

I am the world's worse at experimenting but I have come up with some real good stuff (to me anyway). I buy most of my flavorings at VapingZone because the gourmet and the super concentrates saves me money because you use so much less but I have Watkins flavorings from Walmart that are wonderful too. I figure I smoked for 40 some years and didn't worry to much about all the 4000 chemicals so how bad could experimenting with flavors be. Have fun with it. I know I do.

And welcome to ecf. It is a wonderful place to find answers to anything. Lots of hours reading all the DIY forums on here that you will find interesting.

Good luck to you. :)

I full out DIY now, but I was always mixing a little of this with a little of that, as soon as I started.
I'd buy vanilla and turkish tobacco and blend them - that was my first favorite.
I don't like it anymore - in fact, I have a huge bottle I've been slowly working my way through that is a really icky looking mixture (I put a label on it that says "MUD") of at least a DOZEN different variations of tobaccos, vanillas, vanilla tobaccos, RY4's, etc. All stuff I didn't really like - so I mixed it all together. And surprisingly, it's actually not too bad!

Thanks friends. The wife thought I was nuts when I tried to add a few drops of pure almond extract, with a PG base, straight to my clearmizor. It worked some what but it took 6 drops to taste the almond. I only tried that once and thought I better wait and talk to the experts.

Not every food flavoring is suitable for vaping (come to think of it, none of them are, really, as they have not been tested for safety in inhalation). But we already know a few things we need to stay away from--like oils or diacetyl, just for starters. If you want to venture into DIY--visit our DIY forum, read about safety and ask questions when in doubt--many very knowledgeable DIY-ers there.

I have had good and bad results with mixing different flavors together. Recently I bought a DIY e liquid kit that came with 8 flavors. I've tried adding a few drops to tanks of store bought liquid to enhance the flavor and had decent results. It takes some experimenting to get it right though and I'm definitely not very good at it yet.

I mixed juices and added flavorings like menthol to premixed juices before I got all the way into DIY. I use flavor concentrates that are as safe as anything I know of to vape. I would not use things like almond extract for baking.

I don't know where in Canada you are, but I'm in the GTA and use Canvape and Happy Vapor as my diy supply shops. Both have a flea market presence on the weekends quite close to me which is convenient and saves me shipping costs :)
