vape mail arrived, MKB stealth cap , 50 9 x2.5 mm o-rings and 25 16 x 1 mm o-rings.( Ithaka o-rings)
Stealth cap center pin OK
Also I built a wire welder this morning, it's freaking me out more than I would like, I know sooner or later I'm going to get zapped by it.

Ordered from vapour trend on Friday and its in my hands Wednesday. Its the polished model with the "gold" spring, and looks great and was ready to vape right outa the box.
Now here is the thing that blows me away.I was huffing on my kts while I unpacked and examined the new toy, then popped the battery from it into the MKB,switched the did clone over,and............HOLY VAPOUR........and flavor.....just insane.
I guess I had serious voltage drop under load with the kts, because same bat and atomizer just works so much better.
I totaly didnt expect that.
Both caps work great out of the box, right now have the stealth cap and a 500 bat in there, nice and small, and the flavor just rocks.
Just cant believe the differance.
Glad I bought this, even with all he glowing reviews I was worried it might not be much of a step up,but it really is.

Ive never used cartos, but was going to buy 1 or some to try out the cap on this thing thats made for them (thats what the gold caps really for,no?) and Ive seen a couple of different rebuildable jobs.
I havent researched this much, looks like there made to be used in tanks, but Im wondering if one could be used for dripping?
One was called a "killer" and its clone, another was advertised as being just like a regular carto, only rebuildable.I will edit the post when I remember its name. It's called a "diver".
Anybody tried one of these?
Does this idea have any merit?
Anyone know what Im talking about?:)

The Killer got all the fanfare, but most of the feedback I've read sounds disappointing. The Diver is for real and has been getting very positive feedback. The guys at Atmistique have really put there hearts into it.

The Diver totally flipped my perception onto its head. I've spent the last year fVVcking with the Oddy clones & it's not really a happy thing for me yet, but I keep trying $100's later. The Diver came in the mail w/ a pre-built coil. I just popped it in, filled a tank & vaped happy for a week. When it came to re-build I had it done in less than 10mins - I'm sitting for more like 20mins on an Oddy type device. I LOVE THE DIVER! I'm really questioning why I'm still working on my Oddy clones. The Diver does need to be in a tank - so not right for the recessed action your describing. It's also a little tight to work on.

The only big complaint on the diver is the small flange at the base. Unless your Mod or your tank has a recessed area for that flange to go, you will end up with a gap between the atty+tank and the body of your Mod. I use my Diver on the MKB w/o the gold top cap & single eGo adapter. The flange ends up in the collector tank so its sleek.

Can you send a pic of that? Would like to see that setup with the Diver and MKB.

WTH! How have I never heard of this??? Ok I need one. I love my Terminator for home use even with the learning curve I went through but I still don't like to put it in my pocket and take it to work. It's a sound and sturdy device but it's just not pocket-safe IMO. I know some may disagree but I have an active job on my feet moving all day and I just don't trust the top nut not to get nudged or the mouth piece turned...So the only pocket-safe tank for me has been my good old SS Arry Carto-tank V4. It's just solid and no chance of leaking with how it screw-locks on top and screw locks the carto on the bottom. The only thing I don't like about it is the boge carto I have to use lol...but this Diver thing looks perfect. Sorry I know this has not been very MKB related.

Btw E-smokeguru (greek seller) has some Odysseus GGTS Bases in stock.

@inganeer
How did you strip off the gold and copper layers to get to that brassy goodness? I have a dremel with some sanding bits and such but I'm afraid of going "too far". Could I just use some sandpaper? And if so what grit?

"Well I got the not so shiny brass shined up. Really like this but then on the down side I have to keep it up...LOL" - I don't have that problem. I like patina.

Thanks for sharing this inganeer! I have one on the way, and I am glad to know there is some nice brass underneath all of that plating....

So for a flush mount stealth top cap, I need the rethreader ring? Already plan to a couple of minor gg parts to improve this, might as well order one of those too...

I had a 1/4-20 x 1" round head bolt that I put the round part down in the center hole on the top piece. Then screwed the aluminum nut into it and snugged it finger tight. Placed it in my cordless drill and using 320 grit paper I started removing the plating. I did not remove the plating around the threads. Looked to be too much of a hassle and I also didn't want to fubar it. Was surprised at how much copper plating was there but it came off easy. I then used scotch brite to smooth it up a little more before I put the polish to it.

Awaiting my MKB, I had a quick question: I think I've read here that some remove the bottom-cap steel spring. I also saw it on this video (which he calls the Denkat TS... which looks to me exactly like the MKB, guessing they're one and the same):
TS Mod by Denkat Review - YouTube

At around 8:40, he removes the spring and says he doesn't use it. But his next words are garbled. So if I remove the spring for better conductivity, do I need to add something else, or perform any extra steps... or just throw a batt in and vape away? Thanks.

I guess it might be good to repeat this info and get it in one place (until next time)
If anything here is sideways please don't hesitate to bring it up.

The MKB-TS is a clone of the Golden Greek GGTS made by Rainbow in China.
Quite a few thing will interchange between them but not all things and that is the reason for this post.
I'll start at the top, the threading on the outside of the 510 connector is different, MKB's is 901/808 and the GGTS is 801.
Next place that doesn't thread together between the two is the bottom threads of the telescope tube. The Tele tube from MKB will not screw into the bottom tube of the GGTS and visa versa. Top threads are the same on the tele tube.
Next up the switch (or button) threading as well as the internal switch spring is different.
Now down to the bottom cap, the battery spring is different between the two and does not interchange.
It is unknown to me as yet whether the axis and it's insulator will interchange or not, if someone knows please post it.
Also I don't know whether the positive pin and it's insulator will interchange either, again if someone knows please post it.
As far as everything else..... it all interchanges......did I miss anything?

So the GG rethreader shouldn't fit the MKB with stealth cap, from what I gather
