If you can hold on a little while, I got a message from Stormy Vapor and they just ordered the adapter made by the MKB manufacturer and it will be shipped in May.
That adapter is for the 510 but I have just made a major discovery concerning mounting an atomizer with GGTS base, here it is:
I was taking a closer look as to why the GGTS base would not screw into the MKB-TS native GG-TS collector tank, I took a small precision flat tipped screw driver and kind of scraped it through the starter threads of the MKB-TS collector tank and low and behold
IT SCREWS RIGHT IN perfectly, no genuine GG-TS collector tank is needed after all.
Then I buffed it also

Oh sorry I guess this is off topic or something. LOL

Nice! So with a little careful modification to the depth of the threads the gg bases will fit. Good to know.

I have also found another way to use an 18650 with The Kick for those who are interested. I picked this up at Lowe's for 3 bucks.

Brass Post.jpg

It's the exact same size as the positive post that comes with the MKB-TS...fits nice and snug so I cut off a "shorty" post and it works fine. It doesn't have the flared out part on the battery side of course but that does not seem to make any difference. Good cheep extra brass post poles for cutting custom lengths.

Edit: I should probably note that I did shave off a tiny bit on the side of the bar to get it to go in easy into the little nut on the back of the white plastic insulator. It fit but it was tight and I wanted it to slide a little back and forth better for tiny adjustments as I tighten and un-tighten the whole unit (because I don't use the battery spring).

So 1/8" rod fits? I hoped for that, while eye-ball measuring. Then I talked myself out of this belief figuring it had to be metric. Thanks for completing the experiment! I might try your idea.

Excellent field investigation on your part! Seems to me a GG-TS Oddyseus base, would then adapt a Terminator to the MKB-TS w/o the 510 setup?
I'm sick of the 510 strip show.

On an earlier note, I mentioned my kick shutting off. Of course we're all thinking something is shorting. But I quadruple for this & was %100 confident no shorting. Seemed more like lack of current - like a dying battery. Almost thought my kick was going bad because each time I removed it from the equation, no problems.

Upon further inspecting I found my large extending tube (not the small telescoping one) had a horrible black coating on the inside. I already cleaned this thing thoroughly. Now my theory is this piece was not exactly machined from solid bar-stock. It is likely it came from hollow bar-stock with a maybe a graphite core. The "filler" is supposed to be machined away also, but you know China. So after considerable sand-paper action I think I'm back in the Kick game. I guess graphite is conductive so maybe that's not it, but regardless I think this inner material was insulating the Kick's tiny spring that grounds it to the MOD. During inspection I also noticed some of the threads on this tube were cut maybe a little too deep. I can see stress marks on the inside of the tube. Don't like that at all, as SS can be a little cracky esp. after getting heated unevenly during machining. I imagine there machines are set to full-blast mode.

So another couple things to watch out for on this MOD. I'm beginning to accept that every Chinese product will come with "fiddling" included. If this keeps up I'm going %100 Greek.

Does this thing screw on? Is it threaded?

It is just a straight rod. It was tight going through the little nut on the back. I could force it but it was not ideal for sliding adjustments so I trimed it down a little to make it thinner with my cheep demel tool. Brass is soft so it cuts very easy even with an under-powered tool. I also used the dremel to make a cut across the top for better air flow like the post it came with.

It's not super pretty but it's a nice solid brass connection.

I have heard that the Ghost Cap by "The Ghost Modder" will fit on the MKB-TS. I've been eyeballing it. 30 bones. All brass...looks nice.

Just how do these attach? I'm thinking with the same threads that the collector tank would screw onto.
Oh, I understand now

Well did the brass post swap just as Slartibartfast posted. My HW store didn't have 1/8" rod but that worked out for the better. I risked a combo-pack that listed metric sizes hoping to land on the right diameter. Seems .114cm or 1.14mm is the exact size diameter as the factory post. I think the rounded part on the factory pin is needless.

I also found sheets of brass shim. I cut out a rectangle and rolled it into the large extension tube. I've been having problems with conductivity to a Kick and sanding didn't seem like enough. Seems the brass shim is helping a lot. Still testing - maybe the shim is just making the Kick straighter.

Anyone else have a ton of black film in the extension tube?

Got it unpacked and this thing is nice. I am impressed for a china mod. Compared to the EA mod I had I like this better. Although stacking adapters seems a little wonky it is solid. I used a a short piece of .114" diameter brass to make my pin. Fits perfect. Under the little brass is a tiny o-ring that seals the brass rod and keeps juice from the battery compartment.

Pic?

Rainbow heaven actually has an adapter available

Thanks for getting the correct mesurement. Now I may order brass poles online for future modding. I am thinking about cutting a new longer post that will also replace the center post inside the ego connector. Kind of like what you did with the shorty-510-to-901 with the stock post. I would like to have 1 solid brass post going from the battery (or kick) to the atomizer. Untill I can get a GGTS base for my Terminator it's the next best thing I can think of.

My Top Tube had that black crap inside it too. I put some serious elbow grease with a brillow pad into it before it was shiny when I first got it. Never had a problem with my Kick after that.
