Mobile Site?

Is there a mobile version of the forums for viewing on a mobile phone? I know some sites have a vBulletin plugin that shows the forums as basically text and allows for easier navigation on the go but I wasn't able to find out if there is one for ECF.

edit -- NM: Just saw that Tapatalk is supported and that works for me for now

i see you have tapatalk here, that is great for people who like tapatalk. any thought of adding a mobile style option for those who dont like tapatalk?

it is a super easy, quick, and free thing to do...makes browsing SO much easier on your phone.

absolutely....would be a big improvement and probably lower you guys bandwidth as well. im sure there a plenty like me that cruise the full site on their phones.

I can't see anything that would prevent you from posting a new thread.

You may want to try logging out using the "Log Out" link at the top of the page, then clearing out your browser's temporary internet files, cookies, and cache, then logging back in and seeing if that fixes your issue.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I for one can't stand mobile versions of sites. I use this forum mainly on my iPhones web browser and am perfectly happy with that. If there ends up being a mobile site, please at least provide an option to view the full site as well. Just my 2¢

The "mobile site" will just be an option. It won't replace the normal layout of the site.

i for one would appreciate a mobile site, since almost all of my surfing is done via Opera mini on my cell phone.

We run the Tapatalk plugin so you can use that on mobiles that comply, also we are going to install a site view option that will be available to all mobile users if wanted. It will be optional not compulsory for mobiles, so don't worry.

Yes. There is another plugin for non-iPhones etc but the thing is, we have a zillion plugins already, and every one added drags the site down. It's easier to do an optional template, and a better solution. When all the loose ends in it are tied up, we'll announce it.

I have a Droid X and noticed whenever I hit "What's New" and "My Posts" I end up at AdSense for Google... This is no matter how careful I hit the link.
