Mod Batts

I am wondering, other than the online suppliers, where protected batts, say the 18650 for example, can be purchased. Would a hobby shop that sells RC plane and car kits carry them? Any input would be appreciated.

I can honestly say in my area, other than cr2's no one locally has any type of battery that would go in most of our mods...your area may be different.

I have not looked. but batteries Plus stores may have them, if not they can order them I imagine.

Frys at least one in Dallas had cr123 10440 18500 and 26650 prob is the bigger ones had tabs I don't remember whether they were protected or not. was there for parts and due to dislike of crowds was in and out

BTW there were empty racks for 18500 and 26650 protected no tab (with posts) but I have no Idea what the deal was with those and yes they were rechargeable.

The ones w tabs I have no Idea if they were protected or not. Like I said not looking I was there for a mosfet and some resistors...Oh and some aussie strawberry licorice...Ummm good stuff would make good e-nic flavor....

Us NE Ohioans are lucky, we've got Altsmoke down in New Philadelphia. They carry 18650's and 14500's. I've got several of their 2600mah high drains and also some 3000mah low drains from Madvapes. The Altsmoke high drain noticeably outperforms the low drain. They're cheaper too. But if you're ever in dire straights PM me and I'll lend you what you need.
