YouTube - Mod a V4L cartomizer into atomizer for direct dripping

This takes a V4L carto and turns it into the perfect atty for dripping. Less then 2 bucks rather then your average $9-10 atty. Flavor of dripping and vapor of dripping and no filler taste like when you vape a regular carto. Gotta give this a shot, cheap and vary efficient

I ordered smok tech 2 ohm cartomizers from mad vapes. 9 bucks for five they are set up the same way but when I pulled the filler out it pulled the little straw out of the bottom air feed hole. I have been using them with my buzz and I later read that they are not recommended for 5 volt vaping. Woops heh, guess that's why I had a burn mark on the wool inside. I guess I'll try again and if it comes off again I'll just take it apart and put it back together. The felt also came slightly unwrapped when I pulled out the poly fill. maybe it won't do that on a fresh one.

Ive been experimenting with carto's and attys on my phidias. I just a ce2 carto and pulled the plastic ruber stoppers out of it. It has a nice coil in there but i noticed that the juice doesn't hit it right. In the regular cartos the filler creates a nice consistency, where as the ce2 taste like burnt coil lol. Couldn't figure it out so i gave up for now. Will be using cartos and my LR attys from now on. The one thing that is nice about the ce2 carto, is that when i drip on it, it instantly vaporizes the juice lol.

I did something similar to what jojo did with a ce2, but I put an O-ring on the bottom of the ceramic cup under the wicks and then carefully wiggled and worked the plastic tube back on there. I then trimmed the wicks down to about 1/4" and started dripping. It works really well, a lot more flavor and it is easy to see what is going on since the tube is clear. I would take a pic but my camera phone takes bad enough pics you wouldn't be able to tell what was going on anyway. Maybe I'll draw up a diagram in paint when I get home.
