So, those of you with the Steampunk nano sleeve, I was up early this morning (final follow up for now with periodontist, I think I'm nervous), it will protect the batteries from ejecting in a normal situation but if you drop your mod from on high, the batteries MAY come out, and the door can open slightly, but I didn't see it due to the sleeve... I was all, "Mod dead, oh no, batteries? Better get a set to try it...." That was relieving, in the sense that mod was not dead, I just wasn't thinking clearly. :)

But then? I had taken off my Nautilus 2 as well to see What was What, and also to fill it, and when I tried to do so, the coil had unscrewed into the chimney (I think this might have been part of the drop....) My trusty hemostats were then used, only I managed to pull APART the coil, which I guess was really wedged in there, so now I know what Nautilus coils look like from the inside, I always wondered where the coil was, LOL. So, on to coil number 2! Only, I think I got a bad batch of coils that I am FINALLY done with, after screwing it in very tightly (have to with this box of coils) I did not get the dreaded "no atomizer" until I filled it some, and by then my tank was full, sigh, so I had to junk that one, too. I'm so glad to be done with that box. They're authentic, unless the seller is mixing in authentic and knockoffs, combined. Who knows. In any case, almost the entire box of coils was bad/unusable..... So it was dump out ALL the ejuice.... I know, pennies, this is fine :) and start over. I finally got myself up and running, but it wasn't very pleasant.

Thankfully, all my hardware is fine. This was my first drop with the Steampunk and I am super glad I had that sleeve. I was in no mood for scrabbling under the sofa looking for batteries at five a.m.. :)

But Be it Known the Sleeve can be good or bad, though I'm glad it secured my batteries, overall. :)

Yeah. I think I'm ready to start to build, I've been checking stuff out and I ordered the SMM so hopefully it comes soon :) and that I like it.

Happy Monday everyone!

Happy for you that nothing happened to the mod. Isn't the Tesla Nano Steampunk a very sturdy mod? I mean if I had that mod when I had my Smok Alien too, I may have chosen the Nano to fall rather than my Alien. But of course I wouldn't want and any of my mods to fall. Guess you had good luck nothing happened :)

Yes, it's very sturdy, and I'm loving the Naut 2 metal sleeve also. I'm glad I didn't drop an Alien, for sure, but I wouldn't allow myself to own that mod, I don't think. No smok products, I'm really bad at dx and fixing anything electronic related, so I'd probably burn the house down the first time something happened.... Though, maybe ONE day, LOL.

Yes, I am lucky with droppage... until it all catches up with me and I have destroyed...X. About 2 years into our marriage, my husband bought a full set of dinnerware and glasses... Made of plastic, LOL. It was actually a FANTASTIC Christmas present for me....
