First, I trust that you have removed the battery, while you discover what the issue may be, yes?
Yea I removed the battery, it happens right at the threads where the two pieces meet.
Have you cleaned all the threaded areas lately?

What resistance coil are you using?
Screws that hold coil legs tight?
Screws are tight, Ill clean the threads now

Well, running it at .34 your mod is going to get very hot after just a few hits. I run a .4 and after 6-8 hits, its really time to let it cool down a bit.

The suggestion on the battery should`nt be ignored. Sony`s have been used in this specific application for along time now, the LG, I`m not so sure.

The LG HE2 is a perfectly fine 20A battery.

At .37 he is pulling in 11.35A, that gives 43% headroom. I don't see a problem here.

I however don't recommend sourcing batteries from Amazon or Ebay, what you are actually getting is a crapshoot.
Oh I know I didnt buy them from Amazon, just linked it for an example, Im smarter than that haha

That`s good to know. The Sony`s are getting out of this world.

If it's heating up where the 2 pieces meet (don't know which 2 pieces you're talking about) that would seem to be where the problem is.

Are you talking about between the mod and the head, or between 2 sections of the mod, or something else?

Heat is a warning sign, even using low sub ohm a hot tube, switch or battery should not be considered normal.

Warm is okay, anyone's definition of hot not okay, first sign of something aint right / unsafe condition.

BTW,,, .34 = 12.352a & 51.88w

OK, I get that. I should have said very warm, or pretty warm. I guess HOT would mean to warm to hold, Too HOT to hold is never good.
