There is nothing wrong with that particular battery.

What I have noticed is that on cheaper mods sometimes were there are threads in the tube it will heat up. I would try cleaning those threads because there is current running through them. If that doesn't work I would probably get a better quality mod in all honesty.

So I have a MX on a Nemesis running with a Lg 3.7v 18650-HE2 2500mah (Amazon.com: LG HE2 18650 2500mAh 35A 3.7v Rechargeable Flat Top Battery: Electronics) and randomly sometimes the mod heats up where I hold it, super hot and then it goes away right away , and its not everytime I fire it. I am very confused is something wrong?

I've had instances flat top batteries not working correctly with Nemesis clone mods. Especially some of the versions from Fasttech. The lower telescoping 510 pin is too wide for the flat tops and maybe causing a short. Always had to use nimple top batteries in my Nemesis. Also like other suggested, the bottom switch maybe stuck closed because the springs are so loose. I modded all mine to magnetic switches.

Alright after reading all these comments and looking through my mod (cleaning it, rebuilding it a few times, and having one of my friends look at it, he knows everything) I'm pretty sure it's just a bad mod. The machining is bad, bad metal, the arc thing or all of the above. I thought it was an authentic but my friend said it's probably a good clone good thing I didn't spend too much on it. So is there any mods I can get that are not to pricey and won't have this problem ?

P.s. to the people that asked, the part that was heating up was not between where the mod and MX connect(I know that heats up normally) it was heating up in the middle of the mod where two of the pieces screw together.

I have an hcigar stingray that I absolutely love. Highly recommend it. Paid $39 for it too.

Well that looks good I'm trying to steer away from clones:/

Check out the flagship by smk. They are cheaper than many of the high price authentics and I have read great reviews about them. I know there are some other authentic makers offering lower priced ones but I can't recall the brands. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Seems to be a common Nemesis issue
At least it happens to mine, right near the connection spot of the two tubes in 18650 mode
VTC4, VTC5, .5 Ohm, 1.3 ohm builds, doesn't seem to make a difference.

At my local B&M, my favorite coil builder says he has the same issue on his authentic, and always has

Doesn't happen all the time, but I have learned to hold it lower

Doesn't seem to chnage after I clean my threads and connectors, since after I do that I do get a better hit, but this "NeMe Zap" can come and go at any time

Nemesis' are awesome. Sorry to hear that you thought you had an authentic. I hope whoever sold it to you didn't pass it off as an authentic cause that would blow. Good luck trying to find an authentic nemmy these days, cause the only ones I've seen online are mini nemmy's. Hope you find what your looking for. And as for batteries, I just wish a company would just come out and produce a top notch quality battery to end all this sub-par battery nonsense. Trying to find a VTC battery is like finding a unicorn these days.
