Does anyone know of what I could use for a mod holder that could be placed on my desk?

I have the following mods:
VV Saber Touch
Mini Saber Touch
The Buzz
Prodigy V2
Prodigy V3
GGTB
Icon
eGo

Anything that could hold these...I'm worried my cats are going to knock them over (then let the hairballs start flying).

All I can think of is to get a block of wood about 14-18 inches long and about 4-6 inches thick and about 3 inches wide. Drill out the appropriate sized holes, stain/paint a color you like and you are set!

I thought of that if only I can get hubby off his .... to drill it out for me. I'm not good at drilling straight holes.

I was thinking in the same lines with the block of wood. It could easily be customized to fit each device perfectly and you could paint it and make it your own.

I had a simple idea for a generic USB passthrough with a "C" hook drilled into the side of my keyboard mount.. just let hang and vape whenever.. I could even secure a fastening device midway in the event of some butterfingers.

Hmmmmmmmm....I love the ideas you all are giving me. I thought about a deep well socket holder. Hubby has one that he isn't using that doesn't have any center pins to hold the sockets, just the holes. I may have to snag that and see if it would work. I like the shot glass idea and the clay but unfortunately I don't have access to a kiln. Would a regular oven work?

I'm working out a project at the moment, I'm calling it the desk box. It will be a wooden box for holding vaping supplies and be wired up with a wall wart and charger, The front will have a USB pirt to run a PT. It will have dividers, battery rack, carto rack and either be Bar Topped* inside or lined with felt. Not that hard to do if you have the tools :)

*also known as liquid glass or Bar Top Epoxy, the hard clearcoat they use on bars counters and restaurant tables.

What about going to an office supply store?

Amazon.com: Rolodex Supplies Caddy (1746466): Office Products

The other thing you could look for is a makeup organizer, somewhere like Walmart, Target or CVS.

Sometimes you can get organizing stuff at the Dollar Store, too.

I have a charging valet thing that has storage in the front, so I charge my batteries, and keep my mods in the drawers. I found a deal on ebay a while ago, had a two station valet and a three station valet from Joy Mangano, it was really really cheap. I have one in the kitchen for our phones, and another on my nightstand for my vaping stuff.

I recently went through similar thoughts... I have a Mini Vapestack, Cloud Laser and will soon have a Mini GLV-2. I was looking for a stand that would hold all 3 upright (the CL and GLV-2 don't stand on their own) as well as a fill bottle and maybe a spare carto or 2.

I bought a 4.5" x 4.5" x 2.25" block of highly figured Maple Burl off eBay and turned it into this

It looked like this when I got it

I sanded it with a sanding block loaded with 60, 120, 220 and finally 400 grit (4 or 5 passes with each, wet to raise grain between passes) until it looked like this

Then I put a 1.5" forstner bit in my drill press and did this to it

(picture is after sanding the holes like I did the hole block and then a couple final 400 grit passes with a mineral spirit rubdown between)

Here it is after 3 coats of Tung Oil yesterday... I ended up doing a 4th coat late last night (as seen earlier today in the first picture posted) and once it completely cures, it'll get some clear rubber stick on feet.

Whoa! James thats spectacular! Really.. outdone.. You might be able to drill smaller holes for atomizers if you wanted.. that be pretty cool.. but still alone this thing is just plain cool..

Thanks, I really dig how it came out. I did buy a 1/2" forstner bit for the cartos and originally thought doing 4 little holes where one of the big holes is... but when it came time to measuring and sketching on the sanded top... I chose to just do 4 big holes. My thinking is a one of these filler bottles will take the 4th hole. I don't think a spare carto needs to be on display.
