I stumbled on this at WalMart for just under $6.00 while looking for travel-sized toiletries for an upcoming trip...

It's a Caboodle Acrylic "Chic Freak" and sharing this photo may cost me my man-card but it's pretty functional and suitable for either gender and any decor.

The front side is divided into four slots that will hold 10ml bottles or smaller or ~1" diameter mods, the right end is divided into two taller sections perfect for a mod each, the back side and left ends are open and will accommodate four and two mods or 15ml bottles, respectively.

That looks great. However, for .... people like me that abhor the thought of one small mark or scratch on a mod, the following is great for tube mods. When off the desk can be easily transported. I have a smaller one just for the GGTS. The foam can be replaced at will to accomodate other configurations. It floats and does not pop open when dropped. Cigar Caddy

That's a sweet box. I'm pretty AR about scratches too so I'm careful with mod insertion and extraction. I mostly use it for juice and cartos but loaded it with mods for effect. Since the OP and others were looking for desktop holders, I figured the acrylic stand was more appropriate than my MedPort Insulin Bag or my 1060 Black Pelican Micro case with pick & pluck foam.

Foam-filled impact and water proof boxes really are the best way to go.

I agree, I even like the one SeanMC just posted but I won't stand my GGTS on end. I did a couple times and found Micro miniscule marks. That ended that. Talk about .....

You can make it as pretty as you want.

That's not quite true.

You'll notice that my holders are all basic shapes painted solid colors. That's not because that's what I want, it's because that's all my artistic abilities allow.

I've tried very pretty shapes adorned with fantastic pictures (acrylic paints with single-lash brushes), and they all turned out absolutely horrible.

So, sadly, it's not "as pretty as you want," it's "as nice as your abilities allow." For a klutz like me, that's a very significant difference. :(

There's always stickers, nail decals, stencils, stamps... they even have those paints that give a marble or stone look.... there are ways to get around lack of talent... :)

What I would seriously love is something close to an embroidery I saw once -- it was a non-tobacco cigarette in an ashtray and the smoke rising from it formed wispy stairs which someone was floating up.

Barring that (which would take considerable talent), anything with dragons would be cool. I tried to make one to look like a dragon was holding one in his paws and there were slots for others as spines in his wings. I knew it wouldn't end up as I envisioned it, but it was such a total disaster that it went straight from the oven to the garbage can. :(

You need to find a real artistic buddy because either of those would rock
