I have been wondering if I can use and ego chip in a box mod I am in the middle of building. The mod itself is done with the exception of the switch. I really do not want to have to install a momentary push button firing switch. I want to use an ego chip switch that I have from a old battery. The chip has been tested and still works perfectly fine. My issue is I want this mod to be safe and am fairly new to modding. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I do not have the money to go out and buy a brand new box mod so Im building one with existing parts. I also should state that I want to use an 18650 battery with this mod.

The problem with that is that it will work like an ego. Won't put out much power, won't fire lower-ohm coils.
I don't give two tons about low ohms honestly. I am still using the standard resistance tanks that use 2.4 ohm coils. I'm happy with that I just want longer battery life.
as I understand it would be considered a regulated since I plan to use an ego switch board. Right now it setup without a switch of any kind. touch the two positive wires together to make connection. works fine but I want to use the switch board from an ego battery to avoid all the resistors and mosfet crap.
