I am thinking about getting a mod of some kind and was wondering what others might think is a better one. I have been reading as much as I can on them, but am not sure which one I want to go with. The three I am trying to pick from are.

The Chuck
The Saber Touch
and the Mako Maksi

What I am interested in finding out, are the advantages/disadvantages of each of these, if anyone has any opinion on any of them.

Thanks.

Check out the Tekk Mod. 5 volt. No extra charger or batteries needed. Plug in to charge and use as pass-through while charging, comes with adapters to charge other devices such as your phone (and you can still vape while charging other devices), keeps a charge for 3 or 4 days. Best device to take on the road. What's not to love!

You can buy any 6v mod and use a 'regulator' adapter that goes between the atty connector and atty to bring it down to 5v, or you can buy the 'terminator' adapter which goes in same place you can tweak to anything under 6v. Just so you know there's options for all the mods out there instead of thinking you're stuck with some weird lookin mods if you want 5v.

Thanks for the information folks..

sorry didn't have anything more relevant to help you along..just that a 5V mod isn't something I'd pick for myself...

and both mods that I like and I'd suggest are just over your price point...so nothing to really contribute to your original question

well without the $ restriction....

I'd say either the ali'i from R&R manufacturing (handmade wood, box type with a bottom juice feeder) with a LR 306 atty....
or
the 18650 precise from superT manufacturing (all stainless, all mechanical, lifetime warranty) with a LR306 atty again....

the only 2 mods I'm seriously considering... a 18650 battery with a LR atty will provide probably the best balance of battery life and sufficient power to actually push an atty (without voltage sag)...

You can also get a 3.7 mod and use LR addys 1.5 or 1.7 ohm to get 5 volt style vapor. More heat & flavor and they are priced better then a higher voltage devices

Yeah I like LR attys pretty well, so maybe I will jsut stick with those. I haven't really decided yet, but it might be the best (and cheapest) way to go..
