REO Grand Owners

I met some REO vapors at the June VIP meetup and had a question! One of you was vaping 5v with one really large blue battery. I can't find that battery. All I found that other REOnauts were using is this:

5 Volt NIMH Battery for The Mako Maksi

If you see this, please post and tell me what you are using! Just bought a REO grand with the intention of it becoming my 5v mod. Thanks

Jenny, ask Chad if he ever got those batteries in. I think he did at one time or may have a source for you. I found a Chinese source for those batteries when the Mako Maksi first came out... I don't know if I kept the info. or not. I'll let you know if I can find it.

They do - I called yesterday to make sure they had the 5v batteries for the Megaladon, as I just scored a 6v Thermo that I'm batterying down to 5v.

Just bought Sunny a Grand for her birthday! Now I gotta get batteries and a charger, what's your recommendation? She wants to stick with 3.7v, being used to her eGo.

Also, do you think the doors are suitable for engraving? She got the second to last black/silver (to match her Mustang), it looks like the door would be engravable, but I don't know what kind of finish is on it.

I'd also like to find some kind of case or sleeve that she can clip to her belt as well, if you know of any place that sells such things.

They also have chargers..we have the pila one....works great....I have seen a couple of doors that were engraved, so yes it can be done....The door is anodized aluminum...

Fantastic info, thank you very much. I should also thank both you and Rita for pointing us at the Grand in the first place, this is not the first time your gear has led the way to us expanding ours!
