You actually asked a question closer to the OP
Sorry about rawring like this. But while we go off debating watts vs wire temperature, the OP would like to place an order before Friday. Does he have to start a new thread with the same question and then get hassled for that? (This isn't directed at anyone in particular.)
O no offense taken, and the pic gave me a chuckle....
But OP like the question Ocelot was asking you earlier is this what device or batt delivery system do you have.
If you have a vv device that will give off different readings ohms=resistance which RO but actually looks more AO then it may
read 1.8 or maybe 2.0. But if not the package on your heads coils should tell you the guesstimate of the ohms.
Now believe me I took a intro elec class but all this stuff is way over the top. So hope my real world example helps.
I have a variable voltage device with a certain tank that I like. I bought so I.8 ohm coils to see how it
would work. Didn't like the amount of vapor it produced throat hit etc. So I started fiddling around, and I put a head in there that
says or is 2.6 ohms. The sweet spot was found. So I know some of us might be OCD especially me. But it's about finding the right
sweet spot for the hardware u are using.
I don't know your budget, but what you can do especially if the price is reasonable. Get a pack of say 1.8 ohms and a pack of say 2.5 or 2.2ohms and see which combination blows your hair back and gives you that just right sweet spot for the hardware you are using.
I guess it's like this our set ups are like the computers and the coils heads and wicks are the proper software.
Or maybe u have to see if dress shoes are better on the basketball court than tennis shoes.
I hope this helps cause I was just going through the same issue.
Now on to learning how to rewick a protank head !!!!!!!!!
