i am currently using an ego 640mah and an ego 1000mah twist trying to stay under $100 for complete kit as well i am fairly tech savvy and can be haed on things and would like some bells and wistles i think that answers all ?s

I second the Vote for the Vamo, easy to use, works well, and I can get better than 24 hours on an 18650 batt.

Well, I really want to recommend a Zmax to you, but it's just a hair over your price range, the best price I found on just the mod was $86 in SS (which I think you will want) then you need to add batteries and a charger.
The eVic would be next, but as yet, I'm not totally sold on it's durability and it's a bit pricier. But it has gadgets galore!

I hate sounding like a fanboi...but you simply cant beat the vamo for a 1st VV/VW mod...its very reasonably priced and has more features than alot of higher priced units..
The OS is very easy to learn and I have had mine for 6 weeks and use it everyday without any problems.

downside is finding one right now...if you can wait a week shops will get their shipments and you will be able to get one..there is a forum for VAMO VAMO

you can find the starter kit with batteries and charger for around 60 bucks

ok ok so it does not have a puff counter...who really needs that?

Perhaps I shouldn't weigh-in on the topic.
Really, I don't know what I should recommend.
On one hand, there are a lot of good choices out there.
Vamo....being just one of them.
A great vape is not far away, once you start looking for it.
Reading this forum will help you find what you're looking for.
I hope you find a great mod that keeps you away from cigarettes.
