Mod set on fire!

Well, now it happened to me The mod is a Hotcig sx Zero. I hadn't vaped it in over an hour. It was in my vape stand and suddenly flames were coming out! I threw it out into the snow. I did remove the battery on my way to the door, but I'm sure the battery is ruined as well. My house stinks and I'm shaking.

I have (I guess had) 3 of these mods.

I am actually surprised we don't here of more of this from devices using using these high powered batteries.... not just ecig mods

Was this a genuine mod or a clone? I can't seem to find out much about these.

The flames seemed to be coming from the chip. Its still out in the snow. I'm not going into it until I hear from Focalecig and/or Hotcig. I don't want them to say I caused it.

Makes me think now, I just walk away from my desk with all my mods sitting on it.

Yes, its a regulated mod with a Yihi sx300 chip.

Yes, the battery comes out fast and I pulled it on my way to the door because there are animals outside. I wouldn't have if I couldn't have. Some of my mods there is no way I would've had the time to try.

It was a Samsung 25r.

Atty was Aqua v2, 0.7 ohm, 23W. The atty is fine.

The battery show 3.56V, but I'm not sure I should use it again.

I should add I hadn't vaped it for it for over an hour when it happened The battery was put in last night. I was vaping my mechs when it suddenly sprouted flames.
