Could also just be stands if you cut the bottom flat. :p

My buddy said he saw someone using a piece of cut pool noodle that fits right into a cup holder and holds a vamo perfectly snug.

I have enough material in the house to make 100 of them. Hmmm...pool noodles cost 2 bucks and make about 10 holders....i could sell each one for $5...hmmm.....

I had an old cup holder ashtray for my truck as the Ford Explorer doesn't have an ashtray at all. ..., no ashtray? where do non-smokers put their change? Whoops, I almost lost it again for a minute there, I'm back. Ok so when I quit smoking I cleaned the ashtray thing, tossed the cig holder part and had just the cup. I found a piece of styrofoam, slammed the open end of the cup on it, trimmed the edges, bored a few holes, Vamo, I have a ego/ Vamo holder in my truck

Ha, I get the same thought considering how many Ego holders I've made for friends and around my house from the single 2x4 and 2x6 scraps I had laying around. Five minutes, a 5/8" drill bit and a Skil saw = new career!

EDIT: For my car, I have this thing called a "door handle" that my e-cigs sit in pretty nicely...check your car and see if it has one too. Very economical!

I have used both VapeCrate and Custom Wood PV Ecig Holder, and Darrin and Wayne are both excellent to work with, allow customization, take one to two weeks plus shipping, and I'm delighted with their products. Back in the day, I did a lot of wood working myself. But my shop is no longer, and the pricing is very good. Other than the joy that is wood working, you wouldn't save much money, on the cup holders. I got the mod holder units, each a ten mod unit, both custom to match my gear. Highly recommended. Best to you.
