Back in Dec 2010 I ordered a GLV2 Mini and was concerned that they don't stand on their own. As a solution I ordered some Maple Burl stock from eBay (generally sold for making bowls)...

I made a few stands out of some left over scrap wood and a couple different logs in my wood pile. Nothing fancy but they work great for holding my nemesis and ego batteries. I have a few around the house, garage and backyard. The one log holder got a little chewed by our mastiff but she didn't fully kill it, she likes chewing on logs for some reason. :facepalm: :toast:

I don't know why it took me so long to throw together a stand of some sort, but today I got tired of knocking attys and drip tips over so I made a simple stand. I plan on tracking down some nice material and doing several more properly, including something that will hold PVs.

But this works just fine for now
