Ok so I am not in any way mentioning the mod I have on here (Pm me if you want to know) But I am using V4L carts and driptip for comparing a battery and the mod I own.

Now there are 3 things I look for in vaping.

1) The first and foremost thing is Throat hit. It has to be powerful and harsh. (I used to smoke camel wide cigarettes so you know those are harsh, and a pipe with fresh tobacco)

2) Flavor. It has to taste amazing, and if it doesn't it is not worth it.

3) Vapor. It has to have plenty of vapor and hast to be amazing clouds.

Here is my breakdown for that.

1) Battery after getting gunked up and is not as airy as a brand new one will beat any mod.

2) V4L battery takes it to a whole new level. The battery blows the mod I have away for flavor. It is way more rich on their battery then the mod.

3) Vapor again, is way better then the battery by far. On the battery it is CLOUDS of vapor, and is truly amazing for the V4L battery then the mod.

I have tried many 510 and 808 batteries, and I have proved to the people at the e-cig stand in my mall that V4L juice is tastier, and has more vapor then their juice by far. I have even given cards to the worker's there and their customer's.

I have been using one mod which has failed every test against a V4L battery.

Now the last test, battery life.

My mod lasts about 2 day's without recharge, and my V4L battery lasts 1.5 day's or so without recharge, so you know what? That .5 day difference is nothing since I recharge batteries every night. The win goes to V4L.

Congrats V4L for beating a mod, I will be sticking with your batteries for life.

Vape on,
Krazie Kid!

Its all in what works for you.The XL's last long enough for a couple to get you through the day.I try alot of different things because Im lucky enough to have 2 friends that vape and let me try their stuff. There arent to many mods out that are actually worth the extra price unless you like a little more voltage. The V4L passthru will cover that with the right plug in.I need 5v to get by.I use a mod and I use V4L XL batts. Its all about putting the right carto on it.The wows on an XL are great and a premium or cool cart is great on a passthru or a 5v set up.Whatever keeps you off the smokes!

I have to say, you are completely right. I am actually using a cool cart on an XL, I flip back and forth between WOW and cool's and I do fully enjoy them both. I personally do not like 5V vaping because the carts burn way to fast for me. The flavor though is unmatchable.

just imagine when we get a 5V batt :vapor:

A lot of people are looking forward to the 5V batt, I am glad V4L is making that.

The only thing V4L needs to make (Which is impossible) is a shortie that lasts as long as an XL. That is my dream battery so I can stealth vape a lot better then I am with an XL lol!

I don't have any mods but I've got a few fat batteries. I do prefer the fat ones over the v4l ones but the v4l ones have their place in my line up as well. I do have to say though that I will never buy another auto battery. They just behave weirdly and then you've also go that problem of juice maybe leaking down into the hole.

I have found my mod to be better than the v4l batts, but thats my opinion. I can go 2 days on my mod as compared to 8 hrs on my xl batt, for me I don't like dragging a lot of stuff with me to work. with my mod, I can bring it and an extra batt just in case and a bottle of juice and be good to go. when I used the regular batts, I had to bring all 6 of them and both chargers with me and constantly had batts charging. My regular batts only seemed to last as long as it took them to charge. It was very frustrating, especially when I got down to my last batt. It would be great to see v4l come out with a battery mod that uses an 18650 battery, then I could get all my gear from one place instead of shopping elsewhere.

I have a basic 14500 nicostick (808 variety) that I almost always carry with me but as someone said before, my V4L batts definitely have their place. And to be completely honest, I get the same flavor/vapor/th from both an XL and mod because they're virtually the same... one just uses a fat batt. I will say that V4L batteries are preferable when I'm out with friends... that way it doesn't look like I'm holding a detonator all night.

I use UltraFire 14500's which are only 900mAh and it lasts for a good 6+ hours of heavy vaping. While an 18650 would be nice (especially if VV or boosted to 5v), I wouldn't even mind an 18350/18500. They provide anywhere from 1200-1800mAh which is more than enough to get me through the day. I usually charge everything I own at night so a day's worth of battery is perfect, and preferable to having a slightly larger battery run out in the middle of the 2nd day.

If V4L offered a VV tube mod that used 18650 batteries, I'd probably preorder all over myself. I'd definitely be the first in line to buy one. Call it the... *drumroll*... Vapor Colossus Pro.

I use a 16340 battery for my mod, yeah it lasts me about a day and a half, but honestly ever since I got my V4L batt's I never picked up my mod again. It is too big and clunky for me. I usually carry 2 XL batteries on me, which is the equilalent of 2 batteries for my mod, so other then a big mod in my hand I have a smaller but longer e cig.

I will agree that the regular batts have their place, I just find my mod to be better. Everybody's situation is different, the only time I think about using a regular battery is when I go to walmart, otherwise I got my big ole mod out even at work. The mod I use, uses a 17670 battery with 1600 mah, so it lasts a while. :vapor:

That mod should last you... 2 full days or so, not too shabby if you ask me.

This makes me feel better. My uninformed parents and sister have been telling me I vape way more than I used to smoke. They make it sound constant. But I use 2 trustfire 14500s stacked and regulated to 5v, and it lasts me 24 hours. Looks like I'm actually a lightweight. Suck it, family!
