As we all know, pretty much everything new on the market now is geared towards high wattage vaping. I'm in the market for a new regulated mod but I DO NOT do high wattage vaping and have no interest in it. I usually vape at about .5 ohms at around 25 watts. If we are looking at two different mods, one rated at 80 watts and the other at 218 watts, does that mean anything at all to someone like me? Will a 218 watt mod have longer battery life? Or is it simply a matter of being able to vape at those wattage numbers? In which case it makes more sense for me to get an 80 watt mod?

it's simply a limit for the mod, the 218 watt is probably a dual battery mod and the 80w probably a single battery one. So if you just vape at 25watt the 218watt wil give you more battery live simply because it has 2 batteries instead of one.
You can vape either at the wattage you want....hell I vape at around 18 watts and I use mods that could do 250 watts.......you don't have to use it though, look at it like you would at a car, you can also drive 10 miles/hour in a ferrari if you want.
