I need an 18650 "Kickable" mod, for reasonable Dollars lol I'm leaning towards a Bolt with two extensions. I don't wanna Burn the thing up tho, so I need to know how easy it would be to mod the Bolt. I mod all the time, but never modded a Bolt, and don't wanna take a chance on buying one and shredding it trying to replace the wire and switch. Is it even necessary? I've heard the wire isn't good for carrying alot of voltage/wattage, so what is it I need to do? Please someone help, I've been googling till my fingers hurt... :D Thanks Guys!:vapor:

I guess I missed the part about the cheesy wiring of the Bolt. I do some modding myself but have never held a Bolt in my hands. I'm not sure how easily they are to disassemble. The path of least resistance would be to use the Maxi RS. They're inexpensive and hold up really well....plus...no modding required! Just a suggestion.

Re-wiring the bolt isn't that difficult. The hardest part for me was getting the center pin out. It is in there pretty good on my bolt. Once that pin is pulled out (careful not to damage it) you can get a curved pick or something in the hole to pry out the plastic disc. There's not much glue above the disc, so it should come out OK. Mine looked like hot melt glue and was pretty pliable. You will destroy the existing wiring by removing this, so don't try this if you aren't going to re-wire the whole thing. The switch died on mine, which is why I opened it up. I used a new switch from Madvapes and it is 100% better than what comes in it. I would highly recommend replacing that switch once you are in there. Good luck.
