Well, it turns out the both the newer version and the older version of the E-Power 18650 are regulated 3.7V. In that case, I would definitely chose E-Power 18650 over the Bolt. Like I said before, I really prefer regulated voltage. The Bolt is a mechanical mod: the switch is a switch only. The Bolt may be powered with a 18650 or 18500 for 3.7V or 2xRCR123a LiFePO4 for 6V.

I have the epower 18650, both the older version with replaceable switch and the newer version. My daughter uses the SB. We both love what we use for our personal vaping styles.

She and I both started vaping in the summer of 2008, and have both continued through the vaping adventure and have tried so many "newer and better" mods, and while most have not fit our style, many are good mods.

I am over 3 years without an analog and have traveled down the road from miini's off ebay, to a room full of "retired" devices.

I love my epower as it fits ME. She loves her SB as it fits HER. The good thing is that we use the same batteries, cartos and atty's, so when visiting each other, we can help out in emergencies. We trade juices too.

Everyone has a "comfort zone" and each vaper must find their own.

I hope your journey brings you the same joy and satisfaction ours has. Good travels on vaping road.

Thanks and Congrats on 4 years analog free. I'm just 1 month analog free and to be honest I m tempted to resume my relationship with analogs. Main reason is cause I haven't found the right pv for me. Joye 510 hang kgo are fine but they're not quite filling the analog void. So that's why I'm searching for a reliable mod. Provari and Zenesis mini from my research are the upper echelon but that's not pocket change that they're asking for those apvs. A $6 pack of Marlboro lights lasted me 3-6 days, less if I was consuming alcohol. This vaping thing is a tad bit expensive.

To my way of thinking, if you've got a KGO neither the E-Power nor the Bolt would amount to that vast an upgrade. Oh sure, both qualify as "mods" and both take a much higher mAh, replaceable battery; these are valuable things to consider, but how valuable?

Of course, "value", much like taste, is subjective. Just because it wouldn't be worth it to me doesn't mean it wouldn't to you. The most important thing to consider is, which one are you most likely to *use*, as soon as possible & as often as needed?

Best of luck, & Happy Vaping! :vapor:
Totally agree! I would just wait til you can get something a little nicer. Nice to see another local vaper!

Edit: If you do get another mod and want to sell or trade your Kgo my sister just broke hers and is looking for one.
