Do you think a good soak in 99% isopropyl alcohol would be better than water? Great that you were able to rescue it.

on my first dna I used electronics cleaner when it got juiced up and it destroyed a coating that the dna has on it and started to disintegrate the on board up/down buttons so I decided not to use alcohol here, distilled water is as gentile as it gets and it doesn't seem to have any issues dissolving and washing away juice residue. I used warm tap water to really flush and wash it and then rinsed it with poland spring which was what I had on hand and it did the trick fine, all day yesterday and all day today no issues at all with the display :)

Glad you got it going again. Great write up. Thanks for sharing the info and please keep us updated.
Oh, and if you ever decide to sell that thing, I'd be happy to give you a ridiculous amount of money for it. :D

ha, thanks for that bro, honestly you'd have to pry it from my cold dead left hand. now if I ever decide to build a few more that'd be a different story. not sure if that's gonna happen though :)
