LOL

When I was 17, I bought a 1970 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. (this was in the 90's.)

That thing was a BOAT, and would literally "float" on the highway. I wanna say the car comes in close to 19' long. What an awesome car to cruise around in, it was so damn smooth.

Everything on it was automatic, even an automatic front bench seat that would adjust back alllllll the way 'till it just about touched the back seat. Needles to say, me picking up any girl for a date in that bedroom on wheels was a daddy's worst nightmare. :D
And....if you DIDN'T have a date....and went to the drive-in.....the ladies would come looking for YOU!!!!!;)
Ain't it ironic.....to get this kind of quality in a car nowadays....you gotta go to Germany, England or Sweden...
Today's GM....."General Motors"------or "Great Mistake"????
Well......at least we don't have to worry that the Reo will be "outsourced"....!!:D
Happy (vaping) Trails!

Ya baby ...... Never owned a caddy ......

But from age 17 to 25 I owned 3 different .... of these VVVV

Welcome to the 80s Olds 98 Page!

My first one was the best, got it from the guy that owned the business I eventually bought. It was cherry with only 30K mile on it, garage kept.

Kids were renting limos for the senior prom and my car was nicer than half of them ... and almost as big :D

I loved that back seat !!

My older brother had a grey delta 88 from like 76-80. I was like 10 when he got it. I remember (and don't remember) many a ride in that boat. It was the first car I ever drove actually. He let me drive it on A1A on Jupiter Island and it pretty much freaked me out. I was only about 13 or so and I still remember driving it for about 1/2 mile before pussing out.

This would be the same brother that went to UF and would bring always home something that Gainesville was famous for back in those days and of course turn me on to it.

He also got me drunk my first time when I was about 13 or 14 and took me to my first concert (Rush) and furnished everything a growing barely teen age boy needed to properly enjoy a Rush concert :)

He and I also used to drive his Datsun 510 wagon around PGA national literally as fast as it would go. It was basically like racetrack with one straight away that was like a mile long. We would drive full speed down it and then make the right sweeper at the end and he would scowl at me if I lifted. I imagine it was only like 70 or 80 MPH in that car but it was still absolutely nuts. Again, this was before I had a license.

He ultimately gave me that Datsun.

He is one cool brother. Now it seems we hardly talk anymore. :(
