well I got the thing apart. There is room for another cig IF you remove the cover and do a bit of carving and bending. The whole thing would then need to be housed in a separate case though. There's also room for a stand up hole if you sacrifice tbe lift lever.

the battery connectors are just spring pins so that's easy enough, but without a circuit diagram there's no way to know what would happen if you tried to wire another in.

Trying to make space for 2 spare carts. .9ml a day is just way too little with 2 fully loaded batts.

that's actually possible, I think. You're going to have to use a dremel though. The way I'd try it is:
1) veerry carefully seperate the foam tape holding down the battery so you can get it out of the way a bit
2) take a metal cutting wheel and slice down the corners of the aluminum hinge enclosure (it's too heavy to just bend)
3) widen one side of the plastic slot just enough to get a cartridge in.

you should then be able to load them in and slide tthem down. You lose the cover, but it turns out not to be critical. The cig stays in pretty well with the cover off.
if you use cut down carts you might get 3 or 4 in.

If you give it a shot I'd love to know how it turns out.
